I love the gruff vocals in this cover. It makes all the song so hard and sounds like the song is yours and not just NF’s. Those are two marks of impactful artists: 1. This by far is my favourite cover by an individual. There’s so much emotion and emphasis on the lyrics as if you understand what you’re singing and rapping. I’ve listened to multiple people who do covers only because they think it sounds cool or because nf raps fast in a way. The fact the you took a one of those songs that doesn’t need much speed and can clearly state the meaning of the words while rapping it at a clear rate and getting the message across. Absolutely magnificent, I recommend attempting other songs in The Search. Not just because you can clearly and verbally rap the words but because of the emotion and feeling out into it. All in all, amazing job.
