Hindsight RG3 had an amazing rookie season and if hadn’t ever injured his knee, RG3 would’ve made the Super Bowl in his rookies season! I mean remember he was up 14-0 on the vaunted Seahawks defense WITH a torn ACL so it was there. Let’s also look how that Andrew Luck was injury prone as well but the excuse will be “he didn’t have an O-Line to protect him” which is true but being a player that people said he was built stronger and sturdier than RG3, Luck retired early while RG3 is still in the league

Both retired because injuries crushed their game. This happens to many NFL players unfortunately

In the end nobody was right. Nobody thought RG3 would only have one great season and Luck 7 overall. They both were just injury prone. It happens.

Skip: Redskins will follow RG3 more than the Colts will follow Andrew Luck. Haha. Also Luck isn’t a leader! Fast forward to the present and luck is still one of the top 10 QBs in the entire NFL, and RG3 is warming the bench and hasn’t really played in over 3 years. The answer is obviously Andrew Luck... and it is not even remotely close.

Paul Oliver Well that’s not RG3 fault he is riding the bench. He never recovered from his injury.
@Paul.O.10

Joshua Bullins if you say so man. But I don’t believe that for a second. If he was too injured to play he would have retired right away. Multiple players have come back from similar injuries and even worse injuries and still been stars and great stats, while RG3 had one pretty good season and as soon as defenses got enough tape on him they figured him out and he has been really bad ever since. Nowhere near as good as an nfl qb needs to be especially not a starting qb. If you want to give him the injury excuse and cop out go right ahead, but I don’t buy it for a second, at worse maybe he lost a step, but even that is debatable, and none of his injuries made him throw all those interceptions and god awful passes to nobody. Luck lacerated a kidney from getting hit so hard a couple years ago, and just this season came back from a very serious throwing shoulder injury that kept him out for over a season. People were questioning if the shoulder injury would end his career, but Luck came back and had been as good as ever if not better... so I’m not accepting that excuse for RG3. He never should’ve been the 2nd overall pick because he wasn’t ready to be a franchise qb yet and I think in the long run that actually hurt his career that he had the 2nd overall pick expectations and in no way could he ever meet them. But Luck did meet those expectations and more. So it’s quite obvious and clear that Andrew Luck was then, and definitely still is now, the way better QB! No it’s ands or buts... PERIOD!

Paul Oliver Injuries can also affect with you mentally luck might have been a better qb then rg3 even if Robert didn’t get hurt. I think Wilson was the best qb of that draft.
@Paul.O.10
@Paul.O.10 5 жыл бұрын
Joshua Bullins hahaha ok man whatever you say. But there is no might have been, Luck was always better in college and in pros. He’s a complete QB. Wilson is way better than RG3 but he isn’t as good as Luck either. He’s a great qb, I’m not saying he isn’t cus he’s awesome, but he has been on a way better team with way more depth all around, and had the best defense in the league for multiple years, which is why he won a super bowl. Without that defense or if he was drafted by a different team, he wouldn’t have that SB ring and prolly not the same numbers either. Luck on the other hand has been on one of the worse rosters in the league since he was drafted, had no offensive line whatsoever, and absolutely no defense either, and he still went 11-5 his first 3 years in the league after the colts were 2-14 the year before, and each year he took the colts a round further in the playoffs ending in the AFC championship game the year before he got hurt. We are just now starting to see what Luck can be when he has a good offensive line and defense that can hold their own and help the team. I have to go tho, take it easy Josh.
