I got hit like the first guy. I got knocked out. I 65 stitches from my bottom lip down my chin. I bit off the tip of my tongue. My brain smacked my skull so hard that I had brain matter on my skull. I had to wear dark shades/glasses for 8 months. American football is a collision sport.

The best part is, the vast majority of those hits were completely, 100% legal. American Football is my favorite sport in the world to watch. It's the ultimate team game because you have 30+ positions, each of which has a VERY different job, and they're divided into 3 different squads, all of which need to do their individual jobs to make sure their squad does its part to ensure the whole team can win
