Houston will have to play perfect football to do so. They can’t afford to turn the ball over even once. They will have to convert just about every red zone opportunity into a td. FG’s are not enough against “ Playoff K.C. “. There definitely is a possibility that the 26 days of not playing a game for the starters could have an effect. C.J. Stroud will have to play his best game he’s ever played. I really wish this matchup could have been played with Tank Dell and Stephon Diggs in the lineup. That really would have been fun to watch.

How will that Lions defense hold up is the big question? Assuming David Montgomery plays, that will give the Lions a nice bump. Washington definitely can get the upset, but -9.5 is a lot of points for Detroit. It’s gonna be fun yo watch.

A lot of big spreads for being the divisional Rd. It’s not often a 12 win team will ever be a 2 score underdog. That’s wild. Plus the Bills being underdogs for the first time in the playoffs since 1970. I understand why the public bet the line to Ravens -1.5, but i don’t agree with it.

So risking $500 to win $100 profit isn’t ideal to me personally. I feel that the only way the Chiefs don’t cover is if the Texans get a late score for the back door cover… definitely in the realm of possibilities like I stated during the podcast. Perhaps instead of just a ML Chiefs bet for you, possibly pick 2 teams in either a ML parlay or do a 6 pt 2 team teaser. Just a thought to consider.

I agree with you in regard to Detroit scoring lots of points as a recipe to get to 15-2. I bring up their injuries not as an excuse, just a fact. The Lions defense is really limited because of it. Dan Campbell has offset this by going for it on 4th down a lot. The lions are nicely balanced running and passing, and with Montgomery back they should get a boost in production. Only time will tell how much their defense will affect the outcome against these top tier playoff teams.

It’s not a big factor, but I do believe in “ momentum “ and motivation. Tragedies often times pull people together to overcome and deal with adversity. The Rams proved that they have All those qualities and a whole lot of GRIT against the 14-3 Vikings.
