That is a pretty casual take. Their D is sus and injured. They struggle against dual threat QBs. We put up 36 on the Eagles D(1st in the NFL 2024), 40 on the Titans (2nd ranked D in 2024). Washington D is ranked higher than the Lions. We have had problems stopping offenses. But we also have gotten stops at "Got to have it" moments. I don't see a lopsided matchup. I see a high scoring tight game.

I hope that Ben Johnson learned a hard lesson in the Bills game. Don't run the same sequence of plays just to "set the tone" at the beginning of the game. The Bills were ready for what they knew was coming, forced a couple of punts, and Josh Allen led the Bills to a 14-point lead. The Lions never caught up. This could turn into a scoring battle with the Lions' depleted defense, and the team that never punts the ball would then be the likely winner. I'm not convinced by the Vikings game that the defense will have the same level of success with all that blitzing and the incompetence by Darnold in the red zone.
