In 2012 I know we were frustrated against the Atlanta Falcons but the Seattle Seahawks were trying to rebuild in 2014 when they won their first Super Bowl Title

Steve Vraible is THE BEST! I remember watching the 1st half fo the Falcons game at home before I had to catch a flight to go back to school. I was listening on my phone going through security and sneaking peeks at the TV running through the terminal as the Seahawks roared back. As the flight was taking off the Hawks went ahead, and then right as Matt Ryan took the field and my signal cut out. For those 3 hours, I was in complete bliss thinking the Hawks had pulled off the upset and were headed to the NFC Championship to play the 49ers. When I landed and checked my phone my heart dropped but that was when I knew the hawks were ready to win a superbowl.

The year the Seahawks became LEGIT contenders! It wasn't the defense... It wasn't having Beastmode... It was the drafting of two future HOFers, that turned this team into the real deal! In Bobby and Russ, we trust!
@insertcolorfulmetaphor85204 жыл бұрын
@Anony Moose when I hear that ridiculous narrative get parroted by people, it makes my asshole twitch... I mean, people seriously believe the defense and the run game carried this team into the successes they had... But, to those of us WHO ACTUALLY PAY ATTENTION, we saw a mediocre team, with potential, struggle to move beyond 7-9... Lynch became a better running back, because Wilson was always a threat to run... The defense was lacking that centerpiece, at MLB... Also, do people forget how many times the vaunted LOB surrendered leads in the 4th quarter??? Russ was constantly cleaning up those mistakes, during the LOB years... I'm glad to see yet another 12 who sees these things. Cheers, and go 'Hawks!

I think that if the Seahawks didn't lose Chris Clemons at the end of the Redskins' playoff game, that they likely would have made 3 straight Super Bowls.

This video brought me tears because it is very painful of them losing in wild card or something. They made a comeback against Green Bay in 2014. Russ had a trash game at the first half. Him, Lynch, & The Defense made the comback to 28-24 or something like that.
@1NcognitoXx3 жыл бұрын
To me, that will forever be the greatest game I ever witnessed. Russell just never stopped believing as he says. And the horrific play on the onside kick by Green Bay sure helped us win 😂. He wasn't supposed to go for the ball like he did.

Go Seahawks super bowl year trade a first and a 2 and Bradley mcdoudle for Jamal Adams
@RCunderscore4 жыл бұрын
mcdougald has been a great seahawk man i hope they honor his contract. He only has this year left, and theyd probably hand the reins to blair after that. Adams is phenominal but the seahawks roster isnt strong enough to be doing that imo. They need to keep building, they're a longshot to make the playoffs.
