I think there are negatives on all three guys. Cousins: old, injury, expensive, not mobile. Russell Wilson: washed up and he has a lousy sandwich. Baker Mayfield: oddly the most interesting of the three as he has an underrated arm and he’s still in his 20s but he might not win you a Super Bowl and he’s a bit short. So if I were to make a prediction I would say that in three years the only team, if honest, that would say they were somewhat happy with the deal would be the Bucs.

I don't see a middle ground with Russ. I think this move will either be very good or end very badly for him. He couldn't ask for a better situtation if he crashes here with a solid defense, good running game, and an OC that fits his playing style then it's time to hang them up or be a backup.

Kirk Cousins couldn't win a SB in Minnesota, but the NFL community has gassed him up to think that he's better than Baker and probably thinks it would be easier to win the NFC South. Going to be REALLY good! 😃

The Falcons are thinking short term here. That’s fine if a guy might get you a ring. But is Cousins going to win the Falcons a Super Bowl? Go to Vegas right now and bet against it. But to me if you’re going with a short-term approach there better be a payoff. And I just don’t see it except for Cousins. He’ll have enough money now for a thousand lifetimes. Meanwhile the Vikings will be forced to find their real quarterback and that, ironically, could really pay off for them.

Ironically?? What do you mean ironically? That’s why they didn’t pay Cousins. That’s why they let him go. If they end up finding their future QB there’s no “ironically” about it. That was their whole intention

Help me understand why people think that Cousins is that much better than Baker. Cousins, in 12 years in the NFL has started 4 playoff games, winning one. In 6 years in the NFL, Baker has started 4 playoff games, winning 2. And Baker won a game last year with the worst running game in the NFL. Makes no sense to me.
