Funny thing was iirc Woodson turned into a good player for the Vikings in this series, but he always seemed to play poorly when he was actually on screen. I imagine the irl reason is that he plays better in the simulation than on field for whatever reason, but I suppose you could also rationalize this in universe as him being a player who vanishes when the lights are brightest which is so very Vikings.

@@MrSaladPotato I will say the most challenging rebuilds are those with mediocre talent levels. Typically they have big contracts on aging vets are a pain to deal with. My favorite franchise to play as is the bears, yes I am a bears fan, you get to start off with Brian Urlacher, Lance Briggs, Nathaniel Vasher, big Tommie Harris, and Tillman for your starting defense, but the offense is a shitshow, you get to rebuild the offense and manage the cap space while bit by bit replacing the aging veterans on defense that can play at a high level for a few years.

Head Coach was such a good game. I enjoy the RPG aspect and that fact that i can't control the players. The depth in this game is insane. I wish they would incorporate this mode into Madden.

I remember playing the original and thinking, "Alright, this is fun. It's Madden without the bloat." I don't want them to bring these games back, but this is definitely what Coach Mode should take note of. You made the correct choice in passing on Brohm. In real life, he was drafted by the Packers in the seventh round, waived in September and signed to their practice squad, picked up by Buffalo in 2009, became a free agent in 2011, signed with the Las Vegas Locomotives (UFL) in August 2011, signed for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (Canadian Football League) in 2013 and spent the season on IR, then traded to Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2014 where he was initially not resigned in 2015, re-signed, and then released a year later. His best QBR was with Las Vegas at 121.8. Drewski: "I'm gonna buy dinner for the whole team." The next play: The defense utterly collapses. The problem with the "Emotional"/"Calm" decision is that you don't actually get to decide what the response is. An "Emotional" response to a touchdown could be "Awesome!" or "What the f&$k was that?!?!?!", and it's completely random. Who paid Scotland to throw the ball to the same safety three times in a row?!?!?! How much did you pay Woodson to throw SIX interceptions? And how much did you pay the Vikings to keep him in? How is Vinatieri missing chip shots? Dude was practically 99 OVR his entire career.

Man..the sports fandom had it really good with video games man. Really good. I don’t think this would work well in current gaming even without the pay to win stuff and such..but somehow I wonder if there is a chance. as an expert on this game, a running qb is unstoppable if they have good carry rating because really you only need like 2 or 3 good pass plays and every team has 4 verticles and the ai can complete those pretty regularly. also a running qb, running qb sneak is op trust me. vince young trade immediately every time. hes hof. also get a big leg kicker, ko for touchbacks are big and it gives you the oppurtunity to gt points when a more accurate k would be short
