I'm a Cowboy's fan and I fucking hate the 9ers, I would rather take an arrow to the knee than wear a 9ers jersey or shirt for 10 seconds, but god damn did Jarryd Hayne get me fired up for Football! I was flipping between this game, the Cowboy's preseason game and the TCU vs Minn game lol hope this guy makes a big impact on the game and more guys Jump from NRL to the NFL, (not that I want us to take up all the NRL talent) it would be cool to see.
@JJSPARROW19789 жыл бұрын
+Blow It Out Your Ass - Yeah, don't take all our talent. Hard enough as it is to fill 16 teams with quality. The NRL & NFL need to come to some arrangement with Off-Seasons.

+Blow It Out Your Ass Aussie from down under here mate, I hope he tears it up in the NFL, good luck to him. I can assure you here in Australia ( at my sons school for sure ) that all the kids have gone NFL mad and are playing it at lunchtimes! Now my family has to pick a team! Don't want to back the 49ers just because of JH, but I'll watch every game of his. Hope he makes the cut..:-)
@smittywerbenjaegermanjense23509 жыл бұрын
CloudAttack That is awesome to hear! Rugby (League/Union) seem to be very popular in the US amongst university and college student's, I do wish though that it would catch on with the younger kids, maybe one day it will, as I see the benefits of playing a game like that and it's never a bad thing for the little one's to get involved in organized sports to keep them active!
@JJSPARROW19789 жыл бұрын
Not Rugby Union - the last thing they do is run the ball.....I call it kickball....... It is always the case - Rugby League player's are better at running with the football & better at passing it, just the Nature of Rugby League verses Rugby Union. The NFL & NRL have many similar features, but Rugby League would be more like an older American Football because there is less padding, which does tend to change behaviours....such as you don't tackle with your head in the NRL, unlike the NFL.
@rivaldowade9 жыл бұрын
+angrysmurf12 League might run the ball better but because of the 10 meter rule in league the backline moves are way slower compared to union where the defense is right in your face and you have to think on your feet way more. Most league teams just hit the ball up 5 times then kick its too predictable these days league in the 90's was way better

Hayne has impressed me catching balls out of the backfield and lines up at 3rd WR. He has really impressed me at punt return. They will just kick away from him on KR and he doesn't quit have the speed to chase directed kicks and gain yardage out of them but in all I say we should keep him on the 53 and let him do star as PR so Ellington doesn't have to. He can also play a little dump off and maybe be a change of pace back as he develops in the RB craft. We have ourselves a player, gentlemen.
@sugarnads9 жыл бұрын
Hahahahahahahaha...no...wait.... Yeah...hahahahahahahaha. Kicks directed away from him? What the actual fuck do you think NRL kickers do? Deliberately kick TO the fullback? Or kick it way the fuck over the other side of the field? Rofl. You guys havent seen an inch of how fast he is yet. This is like laying touch footy for him, lots of biiiiig gaps to run into and other team members to hide behind. Cake. Walk. Hes played FOUR games and is making guys whove played all their lives look like fucking chumps.
@whateverittakes16739 жыл бұрын
sugarnads Dude I have been watching football for my whole fucking life. Fuck off.
@colinhooper19339 жыл бұрын
+sugarnads What an arrogant reply. Exactly how many games of NFL have you watched? By kick away from him he means for the kicker to boot it out past the end zone from the kick off so a punt return is not possible. They dont have to kick it back into play from the KO, all it does is make the returning team start their drive from their own 20. If you have any experience watching NFL you would know what he meant. Try to reply to someone a little more like an adult and show some respect and humility.
@peterpaulo60819 жыл бұрын
+Colin Hooper yes that's is prob what he meant by kicking away from him or..... Just maybe.... Just maybe I dunno he meant away as in another part of the field where Hayne isn't? But not out of bound behind the dead ball line. Cmon people why so serious lol

For all the speed and size in NFL, never forget the Rugby/League players 'hit up' 100's of times in a 80min game; no pads/helmet, no stops, no time outs, only half time. Hayne can take it and dish it out, no worries.

Truth: Hayne has what it takes to be a good NFL player. But we don't know how good yet. We don't even know what position he is ought to be playing. Truth: Hayne is not going to win MVP. The more success he has, the more NFL Defensive Coordinators and Defensive Players will study up on how to stop him. This is all just getting started...but I'm glad I'm here to watch! #HayneTrain

It's a shoulder charge if he's the defender people. When he's got the ball it's called running hard or in nz and (aus I think) it's a bunt. Hayne would be far more conditioned to Impact then most nfl players. #38 #NZsupportsJH

+Nicholas Crapper it's called trucking here actually, I dont know what's wrong with the preseason announcers
@peterpaulo60819 жыл бұрын
+James Mitchell actually it's called a shoulder charge coz he charged in with his shoulder. That's what it might be called in America but I don't see a truck anywhere do you? Does anyone else? Correct terminology is shoulder charge but again Americans just like how they took rugby and made this sport from it because they wanted to be different. What else is new right
@HoLyEtHaN19 жыл бұрын
+Lord Commander A shoulder charge is when you don't have the ball.
@peterpaulo60819 жыл бұрын
+HoLyEtHaN1 ok Holy is it? Again logic! Wehter a person has the ball or nit stil called a shoulder charge. Even in sports that dont use a ball its called a shoulder charge. In rugby and league tz called a shoulder charge with or without the ball! Like i sed earlier only inanerica its dfrnt.
@HoLyEtHaN19 жыл бұрын
Lord Commander Not really.. It's considered a shoulder charge when the defender does it, rather than the guy with the ball. Shoulder charges are illegal in NRL, but you can still go in with your shoulder when you have the ball. Ya get me, LORD?
@djdroy99 жыл бұрын

@seedyngreedy7359 жыл бұрын
+Holy Kaep NFL has nothing on NRL physical fitness and strength, NFL has a offensive and defensive side, in NRL the same group of guys do both jobs plus they don't stop every 5 to 10 min for a breather and to figure out what their doing. Plus they don't have all that soft core padding and helmets like u guys, don't kid yourself mate, NRL players would run rings around you guys, as Hayne is proving very easily.
@jimmyrobinson56999 жыл бұрын
SeedyNGreedy hollow bro im an aussie, and you simply have no appreciation of different sports. jarryd hayne has great potential and is a great athlete, but seriously, you are so ignorant NFL is far more complicated in different ways and takes completely different skills to nrl which u simply don't seem to understand. besides, hayne was just about the freakiest all-round athlete in the NRL, yet he is the 3rd/4th best option at his position (running back) in his own team, just put that into perspective....
@whodat68369 жыл бұрын
SeedyNGreedy hollow thing is hayne isn't running rings around anyone lol. I see you guys say this alot but it isn't happening. Hayne was more impressive in the preseason, so far not so much. I have no idea what games you guys are watching lol.
