Re the Broncos: despite the competition, which as you point out, is not something the teams control--they just play the next team on their schedule--they have 2 road wins on the east coast. Of the 15 remaining games, 9 are at home in Mile High Stadium. Nine. In one of the environments that give the home team a distinct advantage.

Kansas City cannot stop a running game. That in itself should drop them down two or three slots, let alone one. Too many of the other top teams have a great running game and will clobber the Chiefs. They are relying on Mahomes to win the games for them. In spite of all his skill, he does make mistakes, as evidenced in the game against the Ravens. Also, what I think is a key point here, several times during the game they pointed out that Baltimore had 13 people on injured reserve, compared to the Chief's having only 1. That means the team that the Chief's fielded against the Ravens is about as good as it's going to get. And yet they could not keep the Ravens from scoring. On the other side of the coin, the Ravens managed to keep pace with the Chiefs with severe handicaps. This does not say much about the Chiefs as a top team.

It doesn't really say much for the Ravens neither. You will see near the end of the season that the Ravens are consistent in one thing and they will revert back to it shortly. That Chiefs one-point loss against the Ravens will be a good wake-up call. Chiefs better fix some things defensively or they may end up losing four games this year🤔

Maybe week 14 or 15 we'll see but come on... back to the "last season and the future part" before you take umbrage, No one had KC in their power rankings till Mahomes was drafted, and similar results with the Buccaneers as Brady relocated, its absurd.

It's very clear to me that they don't look anything other than scores and stats. The saints have 9 starters on injury and 8 coaches. Our most important Olineman who calls all of our protections was out as well as our oline coach. That was the reason this game wasn't much closer. Our d struggled early being down 6 starters but rallied back late only giving points on short fields and a terrible roughing the passer call. This game vs the Pats should be a W, but it will be a close game IMO, for them despite still missing most of their key pieces.

As a Ravens fan, as someone who HATES the Chiefs, and as someone who talked my fair share of trash when we beat them, I would be lying to say I truly believe the Ravens are the better team. A win is a win, don't get me wrong, and watching the Chiefs defense play was comical, but I've been watching the NFL for 25 years and am confident in my knowledge and loyalty of the game to be able to say this. I've learned to speak without bias when addressing subjects about football. I'm prepared for the heat I'm going to get from Ravens fans and Chiefs haters alike, but Its important to me to say this because I like to be taken serious, not just as a Ravens fan, but also a fan of the game in general. Overall, the Chiefs offense outplayed ours the entire game. "But we won so that's not true" well, yes we won, but we didn't beat the Chiefs. The Chiefs beat themselves. The defense was a joke, and Lamar might as well have been on an empty field but you have to understand something about the Chiefs and the history of football. A team like the Chiefs has only come around a few times and usually, they're really good for a season or 2 and then you don't hear about them for 5 years. The Chiefs aren't that team. As much as I hate saying it, the Chiefs are the modern day Tom Brady led Patriots. They are the leagues dynasty team, and will continue to be as long as they are healthy. No, not the Bucs, not the Ravens, it's the Chiefs. If you watch football with an understanding of the game, it's easy to see why. Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, DeMarcus Robinson, Byron Pringle, Harrison Butler, Tyrann Mathieu, Chris Jones, Frank Clark, Daniel Sorenson, and many more players, are in their prime, or aren't to far from their prime. Which means they still have a lot of championships left in them. I'm not saying they can't lose, or won't lose. They aren't immortal. I'm saying everybody is going to make a big deal when they do lose, because of how often they win, catch my drift? Edwards-Helaire fumbling the ball late in the fourth, and the defense playing like they did, doesn't make it a good idea to write the Chiefs off. Something about that team getting humbled, makes them scary. Yes, even the defense. Expect the Chiefs to make the Playoffs, and if they're healthy, don't be surprised if they show up in the SB.
