I need an endless supply of Chris Berman prime time episodes, full too. I could listen to his prime-time show forever. So many nostalgic memories from the espn music, Chris bermans voice and famous sayings, the video camera quality of the games, most important the game style it was during this time. This was true football at its best, I wish I was born earlier so I could’ve witnessed the 80’s and 90’s and early 2000’s games, cause those were some of the best ever in my opinion. (Only 21 so I get to watch this bullshit we call football today...)

The Oilers originally didn't plan on moving to Nashville until 1998, but when the city of Houston saw they had no hope of holding on to their NFL team, they basically evicted them a year earlier than expected and the Oilers scrambled for a home field until they could move into their stadium, settling on the Liberty Bowl stadium.

rogerskolney Bill Parcells return to New York this time in Jets style. Mike Ditka returned to coaching after 4 years to the Saints. Dick Vermeil for the Rams and led them to the Super Bowl 2 years later. Jim Kelly started commentary for NBC. This season 4 teams were tied ( Eagles Ravens Giants Redskins) Boomer Esiason returned to Cincinnati one last time. The Cowboys season self destructed and misses the playoffs since 1990 and it was Barry Swizter final season as Head Coach. Warren Moon return to his hometown of Seattle at 44, he put up big numbers and made it to his 9th Pro Bowl . The Oilers say hello to Tennessee in the Liberty Bowl and Eddie George had a breakout game against the Raiders to have a surpurb season and made it to it 1st Pro Bowl. Barry Sanders made it to 2,000 rushing yards topping Eric Dickerson record on Christmas Eve . The Buccaneers made the playoffs for the 1st time since 1979. Realistically it was probably the year before in the playoffs right before they played Carolina. After 95 their Oline never seemed dominant again and their defense fell off weekly it seemed. Haley and Deion were getting older and first overall pick Russell Maryland was a miss… or at least not a legit first overall pick. I know Deion was still great but he always seemed hesitant and a step slower when injuries started to accumulate.

Not the greatest game, but I had fun with it, as did my buddy Jose ( I was more concerned with being cool, smoking non-medical marijuana, and whatever spells women put on me to spend quality time gaming back then).
