As an Eagles fan, I disagree. Always thought it was a nice design and the pirate ship was always a cool touch. The newer stadiums don't have much character IMO. Las Vegas, LA etc

Ive watched about 3 Bucs games there it honestly is a nice stadium anywhere you sit you have a good view of the field. But it does have that old stadium feel to it. Can definitely use a renovation upgrade. Even the Bucs locker room is pretty basic could use a upgrade. And yes 1pm games are brutal super hot sunblock a hat and water is a must.

Depressed Ginger is too fussy. Baseball is the only sport in which stadium architecture has an impact on the game itself. In football, it doesn't matter. One of my favorite observations concerned the Metrodome. One construction worker said, "The object is to let fans in, let 'em see a game, and let 'em go home. That's all we want in a stadium." Amazingly, the Metrodome was finished AHEAD of schedule and UNDER budget!

There's are some many inaccurate statements in this video. First off, Tom Brady played 3 seasons in Tampa, not 2. That grass outside the stadium is the parking lot. Almost all of the RJS parking is on grass, not concrete. I also disagree with no relevant games being played there. The last game the Bucs played here was a dominating playoff win against the Eagles. The Bucs have actually made the playoffs 4 years in a row.

RJS renovated the locker rooms and scoreboards etc within the past 5 years. RJS desperately needs some form of roof - if you're sitting on the "sun side" in September, you're gonna need some suntan lotion. Most forgotten stadium is probably Tennessee, which was - coincidentally - done by the same firm (HOK Sports at the time). If you look at the two buildings - they're carbon copies of one another with the exception of the Bucs having a pirate ship in one end zone.

Buc fan. The thing I like about it is it is not cookie cutter. The stadiums being built today all look almost the same inside. I like the pirate ship and the fake buildings should be destination spots. Interactive buildings, beer tap/food whatever. Not crazy about a roof but if they did it, it needs to be translucent. You would lose the grass field. It is a good grass field. They could roll over the 1/2 sales tax they initially used to build it. That grass field is the previous stadium set. It was the Sombrello. Could build something useful on that. Torrential rain storms and north and east side are brutal the first half of the season.

It was 3 Tom Brady seasons, not two. And relevant, one fewer division title than the Saints who have been in the league 10 years longer, more division titles than the Falcons (also 10 years older), and twice as many Super Bowl wins as the rest of the division combined. If you want to look at the Bucs old Division only the Packers have more Super Bowl titles, the Bucs have twice as many Super Bowl titles as the Bears, Lions, and Vikings combined. So in your opinion are the Saints, Falcons, Panthers, Bears, Lions, and Vikings also irrelevant? By that logic I guess that the Biils (0 wins), Jets (1 win), Jags (0 wins), Titans (0 wins), Texans (0 wins), Bengals (0 wins), Browns (0 wins) Chargers (0 wins), Eagles (1 win), and Cardinals (0 wins) are also irrelevant?
