Many players in the nfl can play both ways and are terrific athletes! However, the NFL is next level and not sure how much playing both ways will take a toll on his body; He isn't that big. Travis can definitely do it, but I think in the NFL he will play receiver only

He just TANKED his draft stock. Saying that he will get paid double is ridiculous. Teams won't allow him to play both sides of the ball in the NFL. As a receiver, his numbers are not impressive. 721 yards. 5 TDS in a spread offense in 9 games is good, but not overly impressive. Rome Odunze racked up 1400-1600 yards, teteroa Macmillan from Arizona. He has good skills but I've never seen Travis hunter take over a game. I've never seen dominate a game. He does not have 200 yard game and I doubt he had 150 in a game As a DB, he is solid but has given up plays. Against Arizona, he was exposed. Regarding his attributes, he's average height, but a slight build. He doesn't possess above average strength. He doesn't have physicality,or size. He has very good speed, but he doesn't have elite game changing speed. Even on Colorado, there's probably 6-7 guys with a faster 40 yard time on his own team. When u talking about first round, #1 overall, a position better have the TOTAL PACKAGE. He does not have it! Speed Size production physicality. Playing 2 positions at a high level is important In college, but in the NFL, ITS NOT.

Haha No surprise here..I have said he was a wr since he was incoming at Jackson State.. I will tell you why. In high school Travis made a sideline endzone TD catch. Now the ball was thrown high and to the inside of him, problem was it was an outside breaking route. Hunter went up high elevated both feet in the air, but he contorted his upper torso reached back and snatched the ball opposite side of his body and kept his body in the endzone for the TD...That's told me everything I needed to know about him at wr. If you a wr you know what I know. Only the greats have that body control and ability to catch the ball...Lynn Swann

I doubt it, he's not durable enough. If he had ahown that he can be durable and available to play both positions game in and game out for a full season throughout his college career than the nfl would most definitely play him at both positions and try to short him come contract time because they know they would have to break the bank.

He's different. He missed most of the season. So you can't go off stats
@chalkdog30955 күн бұрын
@@MalcolmGrantShow yes he’s different. But also playing both ways is more hinderance than a strength. Because he is not maximizing his talent anywhere doing both. And also he’s exposing himself to more chance of injury. Also playing 2 positions is not a strength come contract time. DB takes much more discipline and focus, in containing your talents. Because Travis being so talented actually hurts many times, because he tries to cheat to be in position to try to catch INTS. While at WR he can just be free to let his amazing talents show (Very shifty, Amazing hands, and jumping ability). He can play either, but WR will be much much easier for him in the NFL.
