@chrisgast7 жыл бұрын
Because he was stupid, I guess. The tackling teammate (Jack Golden) should have left his teammate (Fred Lewis) alone. Instead, Lewis ended up fumbling it. You can't go back into the end-zone once you've possessed the ball in the green field of play. Otherwise, it's a safety. If the ball ends up in the end-zone with the defense in possession, then it's a touch-back and they get possession on the 20 yard line.

To keep his teammate in the end zone so they could start at the 20 yard line
@chrisgast7 жыл бұрын
He couldn't keep his teammate in the end zone when he wasn't already in there in the first place. His teammate (the one with the ball) had possession of the ball in the green field of play and then went into the end zone. At that point, it would be a safety had his opponent tackled him then. You can't go into your own end zone with the ball. Otherwise, it's a safety. The ball has to land into the end zone for it to be a touch-back (except for kickoffs - that's a live ball/play).

Growing up in a country full of watching, playing, and arguing about soccer.. but since I started watching American Football I have to admit NFL is the best ever sport I've ever enjoyed.
@BojaneBugami6 жыл бұрын
Soccer is a cool sport, but there is a certain boringness to it because there is literally only one way to score. Kick the ball through the posts. With football, there are touchdowns, field goals, safeties, extra points, two point conversions.

NFL is not a sport. its a league for a particular sport. thats like saying La Liga is the best sport on earth.

Once upon a time it was the greatest sport but theyr fuckim the game up now to worried about making more money so theyre changing rules 2 soften the game and make it more palatable for pussies so your about a decade 2 late 2000s was the best time 2 be a fan

I don't get how the Bills v Jets one was a touchdown
@chrisghanbari_7 жыл бұрын
It was essentially a onside kick that went 50+ yards down the field. It's not a punt. It's a kickoff.

Camden Barber you have to possess the kickoff (unless it goes out of bounds or out of the back of the end zone)
@yimpster277 жыл бұрын
Camden Barber kickoffs are love balls so the first team to touch it gets it and the first team is usually the receiving team bec. it’s kicked to them, but the bills didn’t take the live ball and the jets got it first so it was jets ball and since it was in the end zone, it was a TD
@bucwhovian83057 жыл бұрын
I think maybe the Bills felt the same way, like why doesn't #35 fall on the ball?

The majority of these plays involve things we teach the boys in the backyard before their first CYO game. However, if I may be forgiven a brief trip on to a soapbox, it stuns me that professionals set around a room, designed that farce that the Colts tried to pull off, and then they all agreed to it. I told my dad I wanted to coach football when I was a big boy. Hell maybe I could. And yes, I know it always looks different on replay. But still

5:48 This is suppose to be a center eligible, but they did it wrong, the quarterback is suppose to be in shot gun not under center.
