I really wish you guys would stop spurging about AR. The kid was playing horrible and probably lost the lockerroom. Flacco hasn't worked out the last two games, but on process they made the right decision and Flacco gives all the viable fantasy options a real shot at production, AR is a leech. Basically no one is useable.

Completely agree. I’ve also seen from very connected people that he was benched as much for character as he was performance. Not putting in the work for a franchise qb. Not always as simple as ‘just play him and get him experience’ He is getting experience by being taught how to be a franchise qb

@@thereignmaker1357 Truthfully I think it is in the Colts organization's best interest to keep AR out there and try to develop him as much as possible and if after 2 more years it doesn't work out try again with a new QB. I understand why it is difficult for them to do that though. How do you tell your other players that short term they are more likely to lose and that they won't be able to rack up as impressive stats when a large percentage of them won't still be on the team in 2 years? They will all look worse when trying to sign new contracts in free agency not to mention people don't become professional athletes without being incredibly competitive and used to winning. How do you attract good OCs if they know they are stuck with the AR experiment and if he ends up just not being an NFL caliber QB they will get fired and have a stain on their record?

I'll defend the benching of AR all season. You can mention a mobile qb all you want but it's pointless when AR won't check the ball down. Check the ball down gain 2-3 yards. Taylor 2-3 yards now you're dealing with 3rd and 4. Nope 20 yard incomplete. 15 yard incomplete. 27 yard incomplete is the offense with AR.

Oh I'd still start him. Consider trading him to someone desparate, though. He's going to get the targets, but the Eagles D has improved DRAMATICALLY, so it was going to be a tough matchup no matter the QB. Players of CD's caliber you just start. Don't overthink it. The second you sit him he'll pop off because he's good, and there's a reason we all drafted him so high.

Guys I love what you do every week, but please just take the L on Anthony Richardson already. It's exhausting hearing you guys trying to argue for him every week. It doesn't matter that Joe flacco hasn't been good. The colts as a whole have been a mess, and even if Richardson comes back there's zero chance I'm letting him sniff my lineup during these critical games at the end of the season. And I say that as someone who was excited about Richardson coming into the year. Fortunately in the two leagues I had him, I was able to pivot to baker as my QB 1 and erase that mistake, but Anthony Richardson isn't the answer to anyone's fantasy QB problems, at least not this year.
