I think a lot of people think this Vikings team is somehow a carbon copy of the 1 and done 2022 team. That is NOT the case this year, and people need to update their opinion. As a GB fan, I have realized the Vikings are good for at least 1 or 2 major upsets on playoff teams every year. Even during bad years, the Vikings are not an easy win.

As a lions fan, I understand why our fan base is upset with the loss and the injuries. However, as a counterpoint, we loss to a top 5 team with a MVP QB front runner with multiple of our players on IR by 6. Only 6. And it was only our second loss of the season. I’d say that definitely says something about our team, or at least our offense. I’m not sure the Lions be able to make it all the way considering our injuries, but i bet they’ll make sure they keep fighting through all opposition and expectations until we drop dead for the season. And no matter how this season will end for the Lions, just like last season, I’d bet they’ll come back stronger than before tenfold

It didn't matter if we gave it to them on our 3 yard line or their own 3 yard line; Josh Allen was not going to be stopped by our defense in the state it was in. The whole idea of Dan going for that kick was get the ball back in the offense's hands immediately, keep our defense off the field and keep Allen on the sidelines, and try to push it closer. People love to blame him for every decision he makes without really taking context into it, he's got no reason to trust the defense right now and it's made him more aggressive when he feels like the game is on the line and needs his offense out there. If we were healthy it's a different story. As it stands the game was never closer than 10 points until garbage time. The Bills dominated us due to the injury trouble, our offense just couldn't keep pace because of it.

I did a little research, i mean very little research, but here's what I got The ACL is considered fragile due to its central role in stabilizing the knee, limited blood supply, which hampers healing, and high mechanical stresses from activities like sports. Anatomical variations and hormonal influences also contribute to its vulnerability, making it prone to injuries that often require surgical intervention. So maybe the Lions should hold blood drives and add more blood to the players. I did say I did very little research

Yes, the ever-growing list of injuries is severe cause for concern, but Jared Goff and the offense are still putting out insane stats to compensate for our greatly diminished defense. How many players are season ending and how many are going to come back soon? I know that Hutchinson is out for the season unless you make the super bowl. You just lost montgomery and mcneil. But are there any big names that will come back soon?

@praneelj9377 We have Anzalone, whom we hope will have his broken arm healed up in time for the championship. Hutchinson is really pushing to be ready to play by the Super Bowl (although I'm not holding my breathe for him to be cleared to play by then). And Montgomery said he wanted a third opinion about his shoulder, hoping that all he needs is a little R&R instead of that surgery at the moment. Those are just some of the major players that come to mind. Add in other critical support players like Barnes, Rodriguez, Melinfonwu, and Davis likely being out for the rest of the season and it's pretty shocking we've managed to keep winning as many games as we have. I'm praying MCDC and Jared Goff's offensive skills can carry us to the end successfully, because our defense is being held together by fresh-faced practice squad members and grit right now. Here's hoping the Lions and Eagles can face off in the post season (hopefully for a conference championship). Your team has been looking amazing this season and it'd be a great test for this Detroit team that's still getting the hang of being this good consistently.

People are talking down the Ravens’ performance against the Giants because the Giants are awful, but Lamar isn’t getting enough credit from the media; the Giants rank 7th in pass defense(or at least did before the game) and no QB had thrown over 2 TDs against them, Lamar alone had 5, about the same as Joe Burrow, Sam Darnold, Jalen Hurts, Russell Wilson, and Jayden Daniels(2x) combined.

Eagles beat Bills last year barely and it took so much out of them they lost several games in a row and lost the division. Buffalo has outscored the Eagles and has a wider point margin. Buffalo has scored 30+ in 8 straight games. No, the Eagles are not the better team. Buffalo beat both of last year's SB teams and this year's #1 seeds in both conferences. Lions and Chiefs are 0-2 combined vs the Bills and 25-1 combined vs the rest of the league.

I really appreciate the media, including Tom, recognizing the amazing performance of Tampa. I agree fully with him that Todd Bowles is not the best coach but he is okay. Considering their remaining schedule with Dallas, Carolina, and New Orleans they have no more game against playoff teams. Don't look now, the Bucs are 4-2 versus playoff teams in 2024. Beating Detroit, Philidelphia, Washington and LA Chargers, losing to Baltimore and Kansas City. Green Bay looks really good as does Minnesota (Detroit is really hurt on their defense right now).

You can't be serious...Most of the national media has the Packers ranked higher than the Vikings...He's a Packers fan and he actually put the Packers behind the Vikings. As a Vikings fan, I don't have an issue with his rankings. Lions beat the Vikings in Minnesota. I have zero issue with them being higher than the Vikings. Their last loss was to the Bills. I don't have an issue with the Eagles being up there either, they are 12-2 as well. I'd put the Bills as number 1. I would put the Vikings above the Chiefs, but it's hard to argue against only 1 loss. I'd rank them Bills, Lions (injuries will catch up), Eagles, Vikings, Chiefs.
