Some Mayor changed the name of the city to commemorate a visit from T S. Travis really isn't the story here. America will always have it's stars, for whatever reasons. Not saying some of her music may not be good, but a lot of people wouldn't know a T S song if they heard it. I've heard some of her stuff, and it's just MOR pop. Nothing I would sing along to, request, buy or listen to on youtube. Looking at the comments, people are awed that she would take time from her busy schedule to associate with football fans. Writing songs, singing and making Capital One commercials is what stars do. T S doesn't make me run out and get a Capital One card; she doesn't need credit. One lady radio sports commentator mentioned during the game, that she would have given T S all of her money to sit next to her. Maybe you can explain what makes T S so appealing to some people. To me, T S is the product of marketing capitalizing on an easily manipulated public.
