Despite the early dreadful interceptions, Zappe displayed real grit and fortitude to make those follow up TDs. He showed moments of real capability. You just gotta like the guy. I have from the beginning. Also, the Patriots defense is among the best in the league and that is WITHOUT Judon, Gonzalez, Peppers. The only intact talent we had on the field was Elliott and Douglas. Literally everyone else was injured on the sidelines. What a different season they would have had without all those injuries and if Zappe replaced Slack Groans much earlier.

I'd say watch some football 101 videos that basically break down the offense and defense and the rules of play. It'll give you a whole deeper respect for the game, as well as the players. The incredible level of talent and speed mixed with the fun nature of the sport make for the most entertaining sport in my opinion. I can definitely see watching the highlights without knowing much about the game, though. Makes perfect sense. Some of these players are walking highlight machines, lol

The Patriots did have some interceptions and a lacking offense overall in the first half… but in the second half, they really turned things around and gave the Bills a close game! They’re definitely not where they used to be, but I can definitely see them having the potential to get back there!

nah, you're way too pessimistic. they're turning it around as we speak (despite loss) ...they're in a new direction with zappe and it's going to take time to get all the pieces around him, esp after wasting so much time/energy/resources enabling mac jones for too long. good news is the clog in bottleneck operation has been removed. now, patriots gotta focus on not having to throw all eggs into one basket(-...case of a qb). keep the faith, tho. "do your job" + "next man up" + "one game at a time" = "the patriots way" (belichick's mantra re T.E.A.M. - hence admiration of players like mathew slater & troy brown, for example - that's zappe! that's EXACTLY what bill wants in a qb!). patriots aren't "back to pre-dynastic form". standings don't tell it all, not by a long shot. keep watching this team as it comes together - it's one of the best aspects about the game.

Let's see NEXT week. Biggest game of season. We need to dominate defense like lately and today and offense like COWBOYS game. Brady did use all players, weapons, just not enough calls to backs and TEs Kincaid can dominate with Knox and Morris. Allen stop the deeps until we have plays that develop well in rhythm and timing. But happy with WIN. Need to get better in the off the start FAST mode. This is the game, against PHINs. ONLY 2 teams have NOT been BLOWN out this year. Baltimore and Bills. Go Bills!

Idk what's with todays NFL but it feels like half the teams can't get to the end zone unless it's a pass play or a 1 yard qb push I guess. Maybe I'm just watching teams with no run game...
