Anybody else notice the extra drum-set on the stage with nobody playing it? That kit belongs to Mr. Aaron Spears. He was the drummer for Usher and Alicia Keys, (and a few others). He died a few months ago at the age of 47, and his drum set on stage in memorial is a great tribute to the legend in the drumming community.

People don't realize the homage and respect Usher brought to the old school half-time shows and the venue. Marching bands were a staple of half-time shows and was long forgotten and brought it back and showed the dazzle and glamor of acrobatic performances Vegas is famous for. All blended together with his old school music and bringing the original performers for his hits rather than doing it solo.

People saying “these are Michael moves not Ushers” who the hell do you think taught Usher to dance? Usher used to look up to him growing up and would study his moves and in 2001, they had a dance off sharing the stage. And a few years prior to Mj’s death they did a few events together and he learned a lot from him. So obviously he had inspired dance moves from Michael.

@@celphone1cellphone591 News flash, the kpop fan base is smaller than you think. No one is calling them untalented. Let’s also not pretend like kpop isn’t inspired by black culture 🤔….as a gen z 3rd gen kpop fan you’re doing too much. The superbowl halftime show has always been about bringing older legendary artists to the stage. Jungkook just starting his solo career and doesn’t fit the criteria. Fans like you need to stop acting as if people can’t appreciate artists they grew up with, especially those who are literal inspirations to your kpop favs. Older generations typically don’t care for newer artists because they grew up with a different type of music. Gen z will be the same way….Btw Usher is a legend and deserves to be recognized and respected. Stop shoving kpop in peoples faces because comments like yours are the reason why people don’t like the genre and the fan base. You can’t force people to like something so stop being ignorant!
