They'll go as far as they can with Darnold this season. But from day one he was always the bridge from Cousins to McCarthy. The way Sam is playing this year will command a multi year guaranteed deal next season. And the Vikings won't be handing out any humongous contracts to quarterbacks any time soon.

I’m happy to see Darnold throw the ball to Addison more. With all the attention Jefferson gets, it makes the job easier for guys like Addison, Hockenson. That’s an elite receiving trio the Vikings have.

It feels good to be a Vikings fan so far week 12. I'm impressed with Sam Darnold still doing it. During the last two games no interceptions. Jordan Addison also had a fantastic game.

The worst thing that could've happened is the Bears BS their way to a few wins and the organization thinks it was enough to save Eberflus job. Caleb's growth is all that matters the rest of the season. Eberflus can keep proving he is an idiot.

Eberflus is gone after the season. He serves no purpose. His defense stinks and hes a lousy decision maker. You are 100% he shouldve been gone at the end of last season like most fans expected. It was an absolute joke to bring that clown back.

Maybe if the Vikings had a defensive coordinator that actually makes defensive calls in the 4th quarter that prevents teams from tying or winning the game would help. Vikings were lucky today, but the same thing happened in the Lions game that cost them the game.

As a Vikes fan, I know the Bears are a much better team than their record. They have lost some very close games to good teams. Games they should have won. They could just as easily be 7-4 as 4-7. They gave the Vikes a good game, and covered Jefferson better than any other team we have played.

The difference is subtle, but look at the Vikings record in 1 score games. It’s historically good. In the end the Vikings are clutch more than the other team.

Did he play incredible, though? He padded the stats at the end there when the defense played soft because they had a big lead. He lost the game in OT with bad decision making. Without the miracle onside kick, they never would've been in OT to begin with. We're the same team we were with Justin Fields🤷‍♂️🤦 All of the games that were close were in spite of Caleb not because of him.

I agree that he needs to go. But if the bears continue to hire and fire coaches under their rookie qbs, trubisky, fields etc.. they will continue to have stunted growth. Consistency is key to any team.

Another tough loss in a close divisional game for the Bears, but at least Caleb Williams is improving and this offense has gotten some of its confidence back. This team was so close to being 7-4 but consistent bad play calling is holding them back

Caleb is gonna break his femur trying to make a tack on an interception next week. He will get blocked so hard it breaks his femur and the interception will be returned for a TD marking the start of a very swift end of the Bears franchise in the nfl for good.

Caleb is just incompetent as hell. Holding onto the ball for literally 6 seconds and taking a sack. Then followed that up by a delay of game penalty (which is equally on eberflus). That was stunningly awful. He always holds on to the ball too long, but that was mind-blowingly terrible

He's the only reason the Bears had a chance to win that game and he played great today, besides the OT drive. Over the last 2 weeks, Caleb is at the bottom of the league in terms of holding onto the football after the snap. He was #1 last week with 2.05 seconds per attempt. You can't beat that.

This is the best case scenario. The bears won’t make a deep run this year anyways. We get to see that Caleb Williams is for sure the guy and the losses stack up to get rid of Eberflus 😄. Great offensive life today by the bears!

Chicago did an incredible job to tie this one. It's the first successful on-side kick I've seen this season (first I've seen, not claiming first absolutely). As a Vikings fan I appreciate the end result, but the Vikings seem to keep games close way more than normally expected.

One good thing about this loss, is it should cement the fact that Eberflus will be gone. Caleb is showing me improvements too, giving me faith that with a new coach and better O line next year, we could possibly have a winning season

This one is definitely on special teams. Caleb played great. A couple bad throws, but also a lot of dropped passes, and he got 11 points in 30 seconds to get to OT. I think Matt should’ve let him try to convert on 4th down in OT, though. Punting the ball away with the Vikings only needing a FG to win seemed silly with how the defense was playing by then. Keep the ball in Caleb’s hands!

Eberflus' "Head Coaching" IQ is very low. This spreads to player IQ also. Like "if you're not going to catch the punt then get away from where it's going to land." Low team "IQ" = a circus.

Minnesota need to keep the run game honest for defences. Aaron Jones 2nd ever 100 yard rushing game for the vikes is crazy. Definitely think he’s been close though a couple games. Darnold also looks a second slow still. Got a couple more weeks to go but this has been a great tester year for JJ Mcarthy next year

Please check on any Bears fans you may know. They're not doing well. The owners, management, and coaches are as incompetent as any bad team you'll find. How they still have fans is a mystery. Also, that was a good game by both teams. Vikings should have won by a lot more, so credit to Bears players for playing with heart.
