He started 23 games out of a possible 120. He wasn’t near the starting line up he was not a good rugby player. The few game i watched with him he was big and athletic but lacked skills and simply lacked the stamina to keep out grinding rucks and tackles. He’s much more suited to nfl were he can use his size and bulk effectively. I find people think rugby skills and nfl skills are transferable because their both contact sports but I think they are very different. For example I can’t see Brodie retallick who is undoubtedly the best lock in the world being any good at nfl.

For 6’9 Christian got some good lateral speed. I’ll throw him on special teams , dude would blow up blocks himself on kickoffs and hope he’s figured the rest of it out

As a rugby player myself rugby players joining is great because they bring a great threat to normal players especially forwards playing(i played football for a while but unfortunately i quit for rugby

hes not a particularly gifted tackler, everyone in rugby has to tackle, i think rugby teaches tackling alot more efficiently than it football

@@callummacleod9884 truth. Everyone has to tackle in open space 1-on-1. What he does have is extremely soft hands and that long leg speed. British Gronk if he can develop to the best of his athletic ability. Hope he makes the Steelers final cut, could be a beast on special teams right out the gate

Besides the fact that he’s super tall and athletic giving him an advantage as a receiver, he obviously lacks game experience in football and as someone still learning the game I don’t think he would be able to read gameplay at that level so quick its more than just tackling

Anonymous Idiot I should have elaborated sorry, I meant for English rugby. Could have gone on to represent his country. I get its a big opportunity for him on the money side but I could never give up playing a full 80 mins of flowing rugby to play American football and get an average playing time of 7 mins.
