The clock management at the end of the game was pretty solid by McDaniel. And, great drive by Tua and company. And Sanders was spot on. Wish we could have gotten more 7s instead of 3s. It was a tough game, and could have gone either way, but so glad Dolphins got the win. Merry Christmas everyone!

There were two crucial no call penalties that made it tougher for Dallas. At 8:42 in this video, you will see Miami get away with the exact thing Dallas (Lamb) got called for that negated Dak’s 20-yard run earlier in the game. As Hill (bottom of screen) is adjusting himself so he’s not in the neutral zone (like Lamb) after being informed by the referee and at the same time, #11 at the top of screen is walking around trying to figure out where he needs to line up. Since the offensive line is already in set position, this is an illegal formation/shift and didn’t get called. Now, I’m not saying Miami would lose, but now you negate Hill’s first down catch and it’s 2nd down and 6 instead they convert the first down. The 2nd crucial no call comes at the 12:14 point in the video. The obvious tackle (hold) by Miami #65 on Dallas #33 (Bland), but again no call. Instead of 1st down and 20, it’s 2nd and 2. These no calls happened in every game and I understand it, but if you are going to call a rarely called penalty (illegal formation/shift) then you need to call it on the other team if they do it. It's about being consistent with the penalties is all I'm saying. I understand it was probably hard for the referee to see the hold/tackle, but when the game is this close and both teams are fighting, you need to be consistent.

It’s amazing to me these ref this year. I truly do think that we are witnessing this year the worst calls by refs and calls that are not being called. Like for example 0:20 like how do we not call that a penalty but 2 downs later they call a holding penalty which it was but like were is the consistency. I’ll tell u there is none. Something has to be changed in the NFL and espically passer interference in my opinion is the most softest penalty in NFL they are playing a professional sport at the highest level where things happen in less then 5 secs it’s the job of the quarterback to learn to take a hit or to get rid of the ball fast enough to not hopefully get hit.
