Brady was relieved when Jason Taylor finally retired.
@smithy34255 жыл бұрын
Taylor sacked 70 different quarterbacks in his 15 NFL seasons. On October 7, 2001, he recorded his first sack on New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in a 30-10 Dolphins win in Miami. Taylor went on to sack Brady 10.5 times, the most he had against a single quarterback during his career.

@finsfan907 жыл бұрын
They havent been terrible for 20 years. Up until 2006, they contended yearly for the playoffs. Their defense was pretty good in the early 2000's. Taylor being a hug part of that obviously. Had they actually had a QB, they would have made some noise.

there will be no other Jason Taylor he was unique but frankly the defense of the Dolphins at that time, what a nightmare for the opposing attack, Jason Taylor, Tim Bowens, Zach Thomas, Sam Madison Patrick Surtain to name only them, that changes with today. however there is a player who reminds me of Jason Taylor it's Gregory Rousseau, already physically identical 6 ft 6, 251 lb (Taylor was 266), high speed, very good pass rush skills, taylor had a big capacity on the "Bull Rush" although we know him especially for these fast movements this is what Rousseau is going to have to work a little more.
