I don’t live in Detroit. But I’ve always liked the lions. They were showing promise with Stafford, but they couldn’t protect him. Stafford went on to win a Super Bowl with the rams. Goff was the same way with the rams. Great QB but not great protection. Glad to see him flourishing with the lions. It’s time for him to get a ring next. The whole team deserves it. Good to see the Lions playing top notch football. Seemed like they were always just a step away. After last year, I’d say they’ve arrived. I hope that momentum continues and turns up a championship. I don’t think your gonna see a better technical/punishing game in the nfl this year. I mean everything the lions do is just so amazing to watch and to be able to dominate like that in OT is what makes them superbowl contenders. Saying that tho I can’t take away from the masterclass of QB play that Stafford has been showing the 2nd half of last year and continued into this opening game. I mean him and Kupp are so in sync it’s insane. He’s one of the few QBs where it feels like everyone is open when he throws it. Awesome way for my lions to start the year but I think the Rams can come away from this game not only feeling they can compete with the best teams this year but that they can beat anyone. 💯💯

I’m glad that Coach didn’t gamble and kicked the field goal, trusting his team to win it in OT. The Detroit O-Line just showed how dominating they can be in the running game. David Montgomery is a Beast! Gibbs has become a smarter running back which makes him really scary now as he can run inside or outside.

Rams showed a lot of promise this game, especially missing 4/5 top OL. Stafford looked good even despite some of the miscues. Hope Puka is healthy fine!!

Ya, I started paying attention to them during the second half of the '22 season when they pretty much ran the table to close out the season. AND taking the Packers down last game to deny them playoffs was lol. Hated to see them have to play my 49ers in the NFC championship game.. and they probably would've punched the Chiefs in the nose in the SB if they had gone. =/

As a lions that was stressful. Rams showed how well coached they are and they game planned much better than the lions in the face of unfortunate injury luck. Lions continue to make no adjustments on defense I don’t know how much longer Aaron Glenn has without any improvements. They took away the deep ball but got absolutely destroyed in the flats and the middle of the field. Every single play was Stafford evading pressure and finding some check down for 6-7 yards creating second and short situations and it just continued all game. Stafford was awesome especially watching replays his awareness to evade and find the open man was amazing. I felt the lions could not get into offensive rhythm as the defense was constantly allowing 5-6 minute drives. Entertaining game overall but lots of work to do hopefully just rust.
