I think if they had taken out the Bills and made it to the Super Bowl, they could have won. Cleveland had the no. 1 O line in the NFL and its Tampa's defense that won them that Super Bowl.

Even if The Bills or Cleveland did beat Kansas City they would have lost to the Packers or the Bucs

New browns fan here. Jumped on back in the johnny football days because I'd followed the NFL for a decade without picking a team. Picked the browns because they reminded me of a rugby team I like. I also picked them because I didn't want to jump on a successful bandwagon and I figured it would be years and years until they were good. Turns out I was very, very wrong. only got into American football in 2016 as a neutral I didn’t have a team yet but I loved big moments beautiful passes and I think I only ever saw about 10 minutes of Cleveland game time the full year and thought 1-15 was comical but it got me interested in them their history if they had always been this bad and they slowly started to win my heart I didn’t care about watching the best teams week in week out every Sunday at 6pm (British time) illd find a way to watch them hoping they would finally get a win but every hole game despite the record the lack of hope or vision the team had I saw fans turning up in numbers and staying loyal to their team through thick or thin passion doesn’t end when your hurt it gets stronger making the good times even sweeter as we all know they went 0-16 in my first year of truly being a NFL fan and I don’t think many who watched that year would’ve been drawn to them but the spirit of the team forever underdogs written off and mocked but never quitting each season tho we seemed to get a little better and more hope came after the 2019 season I was hopeful we could have decent season in 2020 stefanski was building something and all the pieces seem’d to be falling into place but I didn’t think we would get the playoffs that year our division rivals seem’d to just be a bit better then us and we had a tough schedule but staying up till 5am to watch us beat the stealers at Heinz field after everyone gave us no chance against them hearing baker running down the tunnel and saying ‘still just the same old browns” truly made me fall in love with this team and whenever we get beat now and I feel like I’m loosing hope at being a serious competitor I rewatch this video and it reminds me that in 3 years we went from 0-16 to breaking the curse and that even though we disappointed last year a bad injury crisis we have a identity again and team that we can be proud of win or loose

Multiple bad drafts, bad head coaches and GM's multiple bad quarterbacks. Lots of false hope (for Cleveland end of the season runs or the 2007 season. For Buffalo, multiple 4-1 starts or getting close to the playoffs) not to mention both organization's had a football juggernaut that no matter what, could not beat them and would watch them win multiple Superbowls (Cleveland-Pittsburgh, Buffalo-New England) and to finally be better than our own evil empires at the same time is amazing. There's a lot of coincidences between the two organization, more than people realize
