Hopefully next season the OC can design more plays for Marvin Harrison Jr. All things considered he had a really good rookie season.
@Dawhitex
@Dawhitex Ай бұрын
yeah i think if he would be alone in this class we would say "decent year hes a rookie and kyler had his flaws" the only reason ppl downtalk his season so much is because Nabers and BTJ were so good this year, seasons like Puka, Nabers and BTJ are not the norm usually and maybe Nabers and BTJ will be hit by a sophomore slump we dont know yet. Its all about adapting.

@@lvxtu3472 MHJ had a much better season than rookie JSN. Per route numbers and PFF grades were all better. That said, JSN was playing behind Lockett and Metcalf whereas MHJ is next to Greg Dortch. So they're not really comparable

@@JAMEZSP117he has 20 less receptions than BTJ and 40 less than Nabers. If he were to just maintain his average per catch and had the same amount of catches as Nabers he would’ve been second in the league in receiving yards. If the cardinals used him correctly he would’ve been the best rookie receiver stat wise.

He had lots of ups and lots of downs. I think he'll take a major leap next season. Just needs to work on getting better separation and he needs to stop bracing for contact when trying to bring in catches. Was a massive reason for the drops this year. Overall, showed lots of promise. He has a great future.

This class of receivers is going to go down as an all-time great class. MHJ, Nabers, BTJ, and Brock Bowers are already elite level players. Ladd is great and will be a staple in LA. Worthy and Keon Coleman have a chance to become great as well. What a class!

He needs to sort out his mental mistakes - often Murray throws a perfect pass for the situation and Harrison run the wrong route. Also he needs to develop a go get it mentality - often he waited for the football coming to him and the CBs could breakup the pass or tackle him immediately - if that happened he lost the football a lot. This issues resulted in many 50 per cent catch rate games. not good enough. But I believe in Harrison - he showed he has the talent but now he needs to put ini the work. Until now he showed a good and determined attitude so I expect him to have a better year 2

@Wrong_Hand_Drive Murray wasn't the issue. He wasn't responsible for Harrison not coming back for the ball, mit extending far enough abd just letting the ball come to him, not recognizing zones and where to stop to get open, and not fighting more for those contested catches which were very catchable.

@ objectively Nabers and BTJ are better in every facet of the game than MHJ. Even if they manufactured touches for Marv, he doesn’t have the yac of Nabers or BTJ to house it.
