Certain contracts have guaranteed money or specific sums which are required to be paid based on certain conditions regardless of whether the player is on the team that owes them the money. What the commentor means is that even though denver currently owes a lot of money to players not on the team (primarily russell wilson) they won't next season, and are still set up for success in the future.

Shoutout to Marvin Mims. Two receptions, two carries, two first downs, 13 yards. This guy earned a 1st Team All-Pro as a punt returner. He didn’t get any punt return yards today. But he converted on a 4th down fake punt, and downed a punt at 1-yd line the same drive! He does it all, and made such an impact all season. Truly a great player.

Yes my Bills just defeated the Ravens, Josh Allen the real MVP, with Lamar he has Henry, any QB can look good with a great running back. But now Josh has the Bills record for most touchdowns in the playoffs with 24 TDs, passing Jim Kelly. Allen also has the most QB rushing yards ever in the playoffs.

I’m not convinced on Nix yet. His record when his defense doesn’t get TDs isn’t very good. They’re definitely lacking offensive talent so I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt.

GGs Bills. The broncos were playing well on critical plays in the first half mixed with buffalo penalties, but severely lose top because the bills always run well against us, compounded with those few drops and lack of run game on our side. We were in it until that lutz doink. If we go into the half tied, it could be a little different but cook was just running through revolving doors and ultimately Josh would be Superman if they needed it. You know bronco fans are cheering for von this playoffs. We had a very unexpected season, can’t wait till the draft. Give me jeanty!

Honestly? I'm not even that mad. Just being here is anticlimactic given how bad we were expected to be. This game was ugly, but Buffalo is just the better team. It's obvious which team had the more pressure on them and which team had nothing to lose. I'm excited for our future. I didn't come into this year thinking Super Bowl or bust. I just wanted to see progress for Nix. This season was way more than progress. This was a light at the end of a long painful rebuilding tunnel. Denver did better than expected this year, mostly because Bo Nix did. There is reason to be hopeful, but now teams have a full season of tape on Nix. This is why players sometimes regress in year two, so you will really know what you have after next year. Eye test says he’s a player though.
