I lost my son the same way days apart from Goodwin's. I really related to him around that time. I like to think my son is in his Rams jersey and his son is in his 49ers jersey and are together playing in heaven looking over us. When I seen the picture of him holding his son hand, I realized I took the exact same one. This was amazing. I have the same box, the same pictures, everything. Our son was cremated and we always keep him with us, especially on game day. I didn't know he went thru exactly what I did. I didn't want to leave the hospital. And it happened on my birthday Nov 11.

This man DESERVES to have those simple, simple, humble good things happen to him but GREAT & AMAZING blessings as well... This guy is a literal saint... My Mom was this way as well as my Dad... They don't make ppl like this any more... The kind of ppl who put their entire being into loving their family through act and not just words... For he and his wife to be LITERALLY tested this way... For him to have become a stand up human being and brother from day one... And to do it all bcuz nothing else matters but your loved ones? As a 49er fan he is my top favorite. And top 10 favorite for me in the NFL. I hope I can be like him someday. I know I will never be an NFL superstar or ever even step foot on an NFL Field. But Goodwin is an idol of mine. I want to be like him in every way. I just lost a nephew a couple weeks ago. Was 3 months away from being born. My parents have lost a child. It's heartbreaking to see a family go through that. It's a dream of mine to meet him.
