Sean Payton definitely knew about Bounty Gate. The man is a control freak, he ran that organization for 16 years and did whatever he pleased, how the hell would he not know

Agreed. I think Gregg Williams was just the fall guy. The NFL is such a powerful entity that certain guys are just "protected" and others take the blame sometimes and they are "taken care of" later on or on the back end for the trouble. Also, no one will ever tell me that hasn't been going on forever and in a lot of organizations.

Yes Sean Payton DEFINITELY knew about bounty gate. I think he was asked under oath about it and he said he knew. Doesn’t matter if he did or not though he is at fault but yes he knew about it. Greg Williams was a hell of a DC I wonder where he is now

Kaaron Rodgers and Hackett gonna get Saleh fired. Hate to see it, but it's inevitable when the Jets offense underwhelms once again. They will clean house.

@@tobin8157 how many losses will it take for you to re-evaluate that prediction? Probably good to let yourself know what that is now, so that when it happens the goal posts stay put. I appreciate your optimism though. Good luck

@@tobin8157 If you're looking for people to come after you for this dubious prediction, it won't work. You're a Jets fan and thus, a protected class. The rest of the league- yes, INCLUDING Browns and Cardinals fans- feel sorry for Jets fans. Besides, all you have to do is buck 55 years worth of history while being totally dependent on a forty-year old QB coming off a major injury. Nothing to see here folks!

@tobin8157 Jets are 3rd best in the division. If they are better, the division cannibalizes itself. It's a very heavy lift to get past that. In his prime Rodgers could do it. You seem to be expecting prime Rodgers. Good luck with that.

As a head coach if you need to be too involved on the side of the ball that isn't your forte, you've hired the wrong coordinator. Hire the best person for the job, oversee the operation, but let him do the job he was hired to do.

People always want to fire HCs but in this case it makes no sense. Saleh has the defense playing at a high level so now what you have to do is get the offense going but no lets not do that lets blow up the whole team and start from scratch all over again SMH

Everybody wants to give Saleh a pass, but good coaches find ways to win even without the best QB play. Kenny Pickett was just as bad as Zach and Tomlin still won. Stop making excuses and accept that Saleh will be fired. The Jets did Jets things and ruined their team again.

Watch at 4min. Florio are you kidding me?? How the hell does Florio have the audacity to disagree with Simms in saying that he thinks McVay has a good grasp of defense as well and runs the whole show?? Wtf does Florio know about how that team is run and who is informing the defense?? FLORIO DOESNT EVEN WATCH FILM FOR CHRISTS SAKE. he has no idea . Literally none. So how could he think he knows what’s going on?? The delusion is beyond me

As owner Woody Johnson said, “We need a backup quarterback. We didn't have one last year.” Hard to blame the offense all on Nathaniel Hackett. However, it's been two years of bad offenses under Hackett. At some point, he's the problem.

Feel like Hackett is getting a lot of blame for the worst QB in the league not being able to perform last year . Wilson was green and almost never audible at the line . Rogers is a different story I feel like they will be fine . If they have a #12-10 top offense in the league this team will be really tough to beat . People forget we beat Philly last year and we’re really competitive against KC with the worst QB play in the NFL

For Jets fans and Rodgers, maybe it was a blessing that he tore his Achilles. Most definitely he would have been punished all year behind that injurey ridden OLine by opposing DLinemen and blitzes. Probably would be really banged up and possibly seriously injured by the end of last year. They got to watch, feel the disaster, and see each skill position and the upgrades needed on the offense to fortify it. Plus Rodgers at 40 gets to have a full year off just focusing on healing, rehab, strength training, practicing, etc.

IF this team fails to achieve its "Goals" this year and then " EVERYONE is GONE" .... yet again... another decade will pass as they try yet another administration and coaching staff... and blah blah and high draft picks and top players leave etc!. ONE thing remains a constant.. let me think a minute...? Hmmmm? Gee.. this is hard.. ?? oh yeah.. woody and Chris Johnson.... lucky us!

Salah is getting involved in the offense because Hackett is at best a position coach and not capable of coordinating a team or even an offense. Sure, HCs should be involved all phases of the game, but in this case it is necessary that for the HC to be involved because Hackett simply is incapable of managing it even remotely competent.

Is it just me? Does it not bother anyone else that Aaron Rodgers calls his coach "Robert"? It always comes off like he's looking down on his coach. Doesn't that kind of thing reverberate in the locker room in subtle way? One step easier for the coach to lose his grip if you ask me.
