Micah quits on plays CONSTANTLY. If he doesn't win with his first move, he literally jogs around the field. Take a look at TJ, Maxx or Garrett - they actually play through the whistle. Micah has not remotely earned being the highest non-QB player in the league. I can't wait to see Big D explode this year.

I can tell you that Persons is special, but he is no way at the greatnesss of LT; LT was great, dominant, and tremendous from the moment he played his first NFL game. Zimmer coached Geno Atkins one of the most dominant Defensive Tackles of all time. Parsons is a bit arrogant. Confidence and arrogance are two different things. I sense a little arrogance in Parsons. What I do know about Zimmer is he was the DC for the Bengals for like 7 years and had 4 top 5 defenses and 2 top 10 defenses. So the guy knows what the hell he is doing. Parsons should Listen to him.

The more I hear Parsons talk the more I believe those “reports” that the cowboys are growing tired of his attitude. No ridiculous edge or LB outside of Bosa in a whillleeee have led to a superbowl win and Bosa has an insane supporting cast to boot. Trade him for as much capital as possible and replace him with a pure top edge or pure top LB. IMO Zimmerman will use him in the A gaps to rush directly at the QB instead of try to gain the speed on the outside. This is the difference of opinion they’re speaking of

I’m sure glad the Lions chose LT/RT Penei Sewell over both Micah Parsons and LT Rashawn Slater. Crazy how we got Amon-Ra St Brown that year as well. 2 all pros. It’s like getting Dick Butkus and Gayle Sayers in the same year….. I’ll have to wait a few years though before that comparison can be made. I’m old enough to have watched Lawrence Taylor play. I just saw a stat that proves no team that pays 3 stars over 30M each has returned to the playoffs in at least 2 to 3 years. This seals it for me. The Dallas Cowboys have focused on having stars verses developing a completely balanced roster of quality players at each position. They are going to have to make the difficult decision to get rid of either Dax, Cede or Micah. I know that this is going to be controversial, but I say it needs to be Micah. He talks too much, is too full of himself, is arrogant, disappears in games, is overrated and a potential pain in the neck for the team in the future. Get rid of him now and get a couple of number ones for him while you still can. Sign a 3 year deal with Dax for $175M, 125M guaranteed, (I’m sure he’ll take it), then use one of those number ones for Micah to get a solid young quarterback in the draft to play under Dax for 3 years, doing all this while rebuilding a team for the future. Then, let Dax go in 3 years and you have a good young team ready to play for future Super Bowls. I say this with full confidence: if the Cowboys attempt to pay 3 players the money they are contemplating doing, it will be a complete disaster!!! IT WILL NOT WORK!!!!

Being from MN, a Vikings fan, and have watched Zimmer coach, Parsons would be wise to take some tips from Zimmer. Parsons career may end faster if he doesn't take the advice because when he's a step slower he will be out of position already and will not be able to make the play. I found that those who listened to Zimmer played longer.

Not sure about that. Zimmer strikes me as the teacher who comes in the first day of class, lays down the law to establish conformity, and then softens up a bit when everyone is in line. I think Jerry Jones is a problem for the HC, but I think he'll leave Zimmer alone. Problem is if the Cowboys don't fare better this season they could all be looking for a new gig.

Mike Zimmer is a red-ass no doubt, but the vast majority of his defensive players ultimately like playing for him. It got weird at the end of Minnesota because of the tremendous stress he was under and his worst traits came out, but you talk to the guys he coached and they respected him. He helped a lot of guys make a lot of $. Not always true of the offensive players, but he's not having to deal with that side of the ball anymore.
