Regarding the Colts: 1. After two injury filled seasons for JuJu Brents I don't think you can really rely on him to be your CB1 or 2 anymore. I mean, he's going into his 3rd season next year and the Colts still don't really know what they have with him. 2. If you look at what Ballard generally does (over that you think should be done), Ballard favors the trenches in round 1. Buckner and Stewart are both 30+ now - could they be looking at DT? 3. Going on the trenches thing, the Colts are looking at having to pay Braden Smith, Bernhard Raimann AND Will Fries soon whilst already paying Quenton Nelson top $$. I think Tanor Bortolini will replace Ryan Kelly at Center, so Kelly's probably walking next offseason. Could they be looking at OT to possibly save money by not paying Braden Smith? 4. Personally, I'd LOVE for the Colts to somehow land Ashton Jeanty. Imagine Jeanty, Taylor AND Richardson... holy cow...

Corner and line are potential needs, but I think the 49ers would jump on the chance to add an impact edge or defensive lineman in the first round. Their recent decline in defense can mostly be traced to them not having as much juice and depth on the d line as they normally do and their defensive system is pretty predicated on being able to cause havoc with just 4 up front.

With the direction the NFL is currently going I don’t see why someone wouldn’t take Jeanty very high. He’s having one of the most ludicrous seasons we’ve ever seen. He’s put up 850 yards(on 10.3 per touch) and 13 touchdowns through 3.5 games. We’ve seen prospects get drafted with lesser numbers in a full 12 game season and he’s done it in 14 quarters. If they let him play the second half against portland state he could legitimately already have 1k yards before their 5th game. It’s insane.
@David_TubbАй бұрын
Might want to go back and watch the second half of the Georgia game for Milroe. Receivers just literally had no one within 10 yards of them in the first half and as soon as Georgia started to play defense in the second half he only had the one jump ball to the receiver came down with for the last score. If he’s the top QB it’s just a bad class.
