Rookie Zeke Elliott looked like he was on an all-time great RB trajectory. Most great running backs really do have short primes let alone careers.

people don’t understand the amount of workload he was taking his first 4 yrs. he had the most carries all that time. his body took a beating and sometimes it effects people different. even the GOAT Emmitt Smith said the same thing look up his interview. his body just couldnt return to form and its okay. he’ll always be remembered as a great

it wasn't even a short prime for him. for 6 years he was top 2 or 3, and most of those he was top 1 undisputed. on top of being the single best blocking back in the league, and a very prolific receiving threat, he had a legitimately hall of fame worthy career.
@Riles3152
@Riles3152 3 ай бұрын
@@macadelic2492 Me personally, I don’t think he did enough over a longer period of time to legitimately warrant that. But then again, there’s running backs in the Hall of Fame who did Les over the same period of time and they ended up in the Hall of Fame. Earl Campbell had 3 great seasons and only played 7. Terrell Davis only played 7 seasons and only had 3 or 4 elite top RB seasons. Gale Sayers only had 1 or 2 1,000 yard seasons. So Elliot might could end up in there one day lol 🤷🏿‍♂️

Damn, I would love for Dallas to still have that 2016 offensive line. LT--A young Tyron Smith LG-Underrated mauler Ron Leary C-A young Travis Frederick RG-Zach Martin in his young prime and RT--A crafty, savvy veteran Doug Free Their BEST offensive line since the 90's for sure.

Without this line, Zeke wouldn't have been what he was. After 2018, the OL started falling apart and has never gotten back to what it once was. No matter what RB we have, if the OL can't create holes, the RB just becomes trash.

Probably the most Cowboys thing to happen is when 2016 rolled around. This was probably the best chance the boys had to reach the super bowl considering they were extremely hot only to crash and burn and go back to the status quo of dem Boys choking in divisional round.
