Besides 'How could you leave us', I have never cried so hard listening to any of his other songs. I grew up in a single parent household, and my mum gave me everything, she was my caretaker, as well as the families - she made a lot of sacrifices for that to happen. The part where the father is walking his daughter down the aisle really got me - I will never have that. Instead I have my mum. This video demonstrates the true circle of life, from birth to death. No one wants to bury their loved ones. No one should, but that is not how life goes. It's never easy, but it goes on, "if you want love." NF is a true artist, and an inspiration to us all. One of my many goals this year is to see him live. His fame is seriously under appreciated.

My pet fish died 1 month ago he lived for 3 years it was a betta this song came to my head i felt depressed now i have another one thats getting tired of life and im so sad that i cry alot but then this song again is coming to my head and then i was in emotional pain but then after i remembered that life can sometimes be sad when all pit pets are dying or in pain but NF song helped me out the words in the song are not lying i had to get the love and trust of my fishys but now ones died the other betta is suffering and in pain they where both 3 years old i got alot of the trust of the first one so i realized the more trust and love the more the relationship gets and its sad howthe second betta is suffering and in pain due to old age i can not even move from my room cause im so scared that she will die when im not there to comfert her she will probably die in 1 week or 2 more days😢😢 then this song helped me out with the emotional pain im going through and the depression i hope all the 2 bettas go to heaven Thanks NF for helping me❤😊

I cried the first few times I heard this song, too, but it hit close to home for a reason opposite to yours. I love a lot and care a lot. I did this for my partners, and my love was never reciprocated. Instead, they shared that love with one another and isolated me themselves. It was so lonely seeing someone you loved for 6 years change in all the wrong ways and lose love for me right before my eyes. Even the trust I put in them was broken. Damn man. Found this song after I went through my...issues. It took a lot to get through it. I saw many doctors, talked to many therapist, and one thing I'll always regret is what I put my mom through. She loved me so much and I paid her back with worry, neglect, selfishness, and hurt. I was angry. I was depressed. I was sometimes angry AND depressed. To this day she worries about me if I don't call her for a few days and I'm 21 years old. I think it took me a long time to figure out that my pain was temporary, and that it too shall pass. I hope nobody has to go through what I did. But I know people do and if that's you, if you feel helpless, I want you to reach out. Tell somebody you trust. It doesn't have to be a doctor or a therapist. NF is one of few rappers that I manged to find at the right time in my life.. His Music was a message of hope when I thought I would never make it out. It wasn't until the start of year that everything changed. NF inspired me to take my pain and put it into my own songs to spread a message the same way he does. No matter what you are going through - you are always capable of doing so much more than you ever know. Don't let anyone make you feel like you are worthless!
