Whewwww.. I’ve been outside on the porch chillin and listening to NF, and while this song has been playing, I felt the Holy Spirit here with me. I’ve been staring at this tree that has lost its leaves, and as I was reminded of a post I’d earlier seen on Facebook, I was thinking about how the tree is not dead, just going through changes, and it will grow again and the leaves will come back, but new. As I thought the word change, the lyrics of this song mirrored my thoughts, and I felt the presence of God all over. And then I seen a comment referencing the lyric mentioning suicide and talking to God, and again, the Holy Spirit surrounded me in a wave. I will always love your music, man. And I’m so thankful for it, and for God working through people. Music and poetry have always been a lifeline for me, and now that I have Christ I’ve learned to rely on God and to feel the music instead of looking for it to save me. I remember I first discovered NF back in 2019 and loved every song. I relate to a lot of his music due to my own childhood but this song is special. I’m not religious but this is the first time I’ve ever felt a connection to a god. Whatever you choose in the future, weather you rap until your 83 or stop soon, thank you. You truly helped me though the rough times in my life and connected me to things I never thought I’d be connected to before; A community of people who are like me, god, you. I don’t idolize idols but you’re the best man!

Everyone has test but how see them is different to the person who is dealing with them. Everyone goes through problems differently, something small for you could be something huge for someone else. But I guess its whatever is necessary to make that person "change".

LetsGoDavid Thank you for responding in a respectfull manner. But it is such a waterproof way to make people believe in God. “It is al a test”. Each their own way. But i dont think starving of thirst in some poor country is a test, its just bad luck. If what you believe in is true, its simply luck that gets you into heaven. Lucky enough to have been brought up by the right parents with the right religion in the right country. There are many places in world where you could be killed for your religion, so people choose the religion that keeps them save. Maybe it is the right one, maybe it isnt. Maybe non of them are, and you were doomed from the start. What i am saying is: if god exists why doesnt he show himself to give everyone an equal choice. I am pretty sure most atheists would convert after that? If not, they might be stupid or too far gone (which tbh also depends on how you were raised and in what envirenmont. Do you see my pint here?
