Manual is better because you have the total control of your favorite car, but is a bit hard if you don't know what button you should press to shift up and down but I think is much better manual than automatic

@@monicaababei6276 any AI slows down in this turn, except if you touch his car or the scenery, he accelerates even more, the way to catch up is to not touch anything or slow down a lot so that he too slows down which allows to catch up and even overtake him

@@Doragonguro i never touched him. I just had mitsubishi eclipse and i was close by him always. Me driving skils in past was beyond of charts. Manual transmision. I played carbon like 130 times in back me days idk why but darius never slowed ther. Maby was a bug.

The problem with NFS Carbon, is that the Handling Tuning is Reversed. Oversteering Tuning means Understeering Meanwhile Understeering Tuning means Oversteering. Yeah you might call it a Permanent Typo. I noticed this when I mistakenly Tuned my car to Understeering, it turns so Sharply very easily.

Or you can use suspension and tires as stock the 240sx will still turns well enough. Problem in this game is the tires and suspension are broken for some cars (not sure if that is the case for every car in the game) so i use tires and suspension for all my cars in career mode.

If you have the collector’s edition, you can do the exclusive time trial tracks with boss cars (Tier 3) to unlock the Nissan 240SX, which will take around 15 minutes, due to the final time trial going around the world. Also: Darius: NOOOOOOO NOT THE 240SX! Nissan 240: Hehehe I have the greatest stats for Tier 1.

Exotics are a bad choice vs Darius. It’s difficult. But if you have a tuner, it’s better. Overtaking him is possible. Not only you can defeat him with some tier 3 cars, but you can take Darius out with the cheapest car in NFS Carbon.

if you slow down, he will slow down too. if you slow down at the right moment, and accelerate sooner than he did, you have a bigger chance of overtaking him

The Corvette is the best muscle of all it have better aceleration, a really fast speed, his handle is hard but with some fixes of the suspension you have a ultimate powerful muscle car

You can also beat the crap out of the game with the charger.Easyest way is to start the career with the Camaro, start with Angie`s turf, beat her in the canyon and if you re lucky you get her pink slip from the card selection.If not, well, just raise the money to buy the Charger , race some more to upgrade it with at least nitrous and afterwards you can use only the Charger for the rest of the game.I don t know how many realise it, but this car might have the fastest acceleration in the game once fully upgraded and tuned.One more thing to point is that it might be difficult for some to adjust with the car s handling...The car is pretty much all over the place and if not used to muscle cars in this game, you re gonna hate it.Other than the terrible or handling, the Charger does it s job.As an alternative, i like to do the same thing, but the only difference is that i buy the Murcielago and i fully upgrade it just performance wise, visually i keep it stock .I do this right before the final event with the 3 small bosses and Darius afterwards.It all depends in what mood i am to finish the game, it feels like such a piece of cake to me now :)).Even so, it s one , or maybe my favourite NFS`s .If i get pissed enough i can finish the game in a few hours :) .Good luck to all of you!
