I especially like how at the end Nikki hits a traffic car, then exclaims "Yeeah!" shortly afterwards. And also mentions that you're gonna have to get "in front of this guy" - there was no-one else to pass at that point.

Well, yes, but by this point Cross is just a bounty hunter, so on that note, no different than street racers. I think the markings on the left door are just his previous, captured targets too. Fun fact: His C6 Corvette still shows up in pursuits in Carbon due to an oversight when they tossed MW's cops into the game, but never uses the radio chatter.

9:30 The problem of speedtrap races: rubberbanding boosts opponents to airliner speeds. The only way to win is to hopefully increase the gap further for them to lose points.

If he didnt bump he will be second and not lose speed He use scout that is really fast when scouting mode is off or no available shortcuts. opponents car are exotic or muscle which is best in speedtraps which i never been to the last or least position except u bump into wall or civic car and if u are using tuners

@@ezragaring5585 What I mean is when you drive really good (no bump, no body contact, perfect racing line) that your gap to other opponent is huge, the rubberbanding kicks in. Mostly with ridiculous results. Where can you find in one of the speedtraps the speed is in 470 km/hr?

1:45 it represents how many street racers with valuable bounties that Cross have been taken down, or "taken down" trough the canyon I suppose. Cross's corvette in MW have those marks too but I think in Carbon his corvette looks way cooler.

1:05 This legit happened to me on the Most Wanted reboot. There was a traffic jam that I couldn't get my car out of (I was in a Ford GT) and there was like a cop nearby. I put down my controller in patience to see if the traffic would move. Not only did it not move, but the cop triggered a pursuit and I got busted for the first time ever in that game, even though it was pretty BS. I even got a dumb Xbox achievement out of it.
