That's because crosses car is actually a racer in NFS carbon not a cop

the canyons not being connected are intentional so they could have more routes added without fear of having them all needing to be "properly" placed within the map boundaries. iammostwanted tried to make the best logical sense of their locations if they were to be accurately placed but it still ended up being pretty scuffed as almost all the canyon routes dont line up with the canyon locations the game says they sit within. a canyon pursuit mode wouldve been cool though. like, it be a solo player sprint race where your goal is to reach the end to "escape" while having heat level 6. similar to most wanted's final pursuit which was the only time heat level 6 was actually used.

The Shear Insanity of Most Wanted/Heat Level cops on a Cayon Death Dance between you and the cops. I played around with this in mods and my God it's thrilling and like nothing else in racing games. Done properly in a new NFS game would be Peak

You can use extra options to toggle drift physics without having to worry about editing values.

There are 2 cross cars, the one that does recieve damage is the regular cross corvette similar to copsporthench( heat 5 corvette) and copsportghost (heat 6 UC corvette). The one that doesn't recieve damage is modded and behaves like a racer car.
