One time I ended up beating Neville so hard I didn't need Nikki's help, but she had to restart the universe anyways.

that's gameplay wise story wise what would probably happen is that Nikki would ask you if you're really interested in the wingman stuff. If yes, you would have this again but if not she would say "okay, you're on your own" and go away. Then before going to the city, the player and Neville would go to Taco Bell or something and try to figure out what to do next but then these are just my thoughts about this thing

Nevile is already part of a Crew, so he would leave with Nikki. He was only there to show you the ropes, and if you're not part of the crew, as you said, you're on your own. That's the most logical answer.

I remember playing this when i was like 8 years old. I'm from India and so i didn't understand English at all, i just knew that i had to race to win, except that I didn't know i needed to press a button to activate a skill and so i just kept driving for like 10 minutes. I found it weird that we keep on driving without any changes (cutscenes) until my dad showed me what to do

Once I made it to finish line for the first time before Nikki introduced blocking and for some odd reason Nikki ended up repeating everything that she already went over without any kind of restart going on. I still don’t know exactly how it happened as it happened at least 5 or so years ago.

We beat Razor, with a car instead of M3 GTR. But when race ends, Rockport Police Department raided there, and arrested all BL racers. But our car (Which car we beat Razor with) is still in the Safe House after the Final Pursuit. Please investigate this bro.
