So in original race you're just chased by lamborghini cops.
I thought it would be cool idea if in final race cops sent everything at you.
Think of it as a final race Heat 4 "concept"

It's modded Most Wanted. Basically a completely new challenge series with fun races and cars from Hot Pursuit 2, and entire HP2 soundtrack. It's not really a "big" mod but it's a total conversion. Took me about 6-7 hours to finish it with many restarts because races are actually hard when you don't tick the easy mode during installation.

It actually makes sense for them to appear in the same heat level you know… In fact, all pursuit heat levels should be this way: Ford Crown Victorias are the workhorse of the Rockport Police Dept., while other police cars would appear as elite squads. I even hope the vanilla heat levels to be this way.

@@damgam98 Wait, so this 3-type police car limit is unfixable? I’m using VltEd to create my own heat levels and found that, I thought it was just my problem of not knowing the meaning of every value. Speaking of which, I’d like to share my heat level setup and what I actually hoped for: For Heat 1 I have 20 patrol cars in total with possible helicopter, roadblock, and spike strip support, using civic cruisers and light SUVs. I’ve changed their bounty value so a regular cruiser worth 1000 and light SUV 2000. I hoped to include civic undercover cruisers in here (hence the three-type limit comes in play) just like in real life there’s unmarked police cars, but to no avail. Additionally, I don’t exactly know which value controls AI behavior and all SUVs, despite showing in pursuits and patrol, only knows to brake check racers rather than following them and boxing them up. Tbh though, they can be a pain in the ass especially in races, they do screw racers including myself up pretty good. Hitting them in the butt is no better than hitting a semi-truck, which is basically a moving building gameplay-value-wise. For Heat 2 there’s also 20 cars with all available support except head-on rhinos, this time with undercover cruisers. Heat 3 and 4 both have 40 police cars with all available support and increased probability for roadblocks and spikes. I also tweaked some value probably regarding “box in tightness” and “box in duration” so they feel like more aggressive in games. They also have light and heavy SUVs in pursuit and on patrol. And for Heat Level 5 and 6 I gave them 60 police cars. I also changed the reinforcement time for the heat levels. It would only take 90 seconds for Heat 1 and 2 reinforcements to arrive, as RPD can “easily” put more patrol cars on call or divert vehicles from other districts. Heat 3 and 4 would need 120 seconds to be reinforced, as it requires some effort to coordinate with the State. Heat 5 and 6 would need 150 seconds to be reinforced, as significant effort is required to request Federal support, possibly from neighboring cities. In my original design, like I said previously, I intended to have civic (undercover) cruisers as the workhorse of every heat level, as you can still find them in cutscenes such as busting scenes with higher Heat Level and the final pursuit. They should also be heavier than GTOs and Corvettes, as we’re dealing with Crown Victoria rip-offs. For Heat Level 3 and above, State/Federal (Undercover) Cruisers would appear in packs and be in control of the pursuit. The probability for them to appear increases as Heat Level changes. They should also be lighter, and the Corvettes should actually be the lightest among them. It makes no sense in game that a Corvette is heavier than CVs and GTOs, right?

@@sakeburyojo4218 As far as i know you cannot go past three. And on late heat levels you also need to use one spot for heli..... unless you do what i did here and set heli to only spawn in cooldown.

There’re values that said roadblock and spike probability for heat level in races, but I gave it the same value as normal heat level, nothing happened.

idk about that actually. ExtraOptions mod has a config option to replace Race heats with normal ones, but that's not what HPChallenges has done.

Car has an invisible health bar so you cannot wreck everything mindlessly. In the patch he added smoke when your car is low on health but this video was recorded on launch version. Just that in normal HPC you're chased only by lambos here.
