Hello guys,
With NFS Unbound almost a month after release, I decided to make a video with best sounding cars. Considering this game was made by Criterion, car sounds should be great and they are.. mostly haha. I like how car sounds now have bass. Its really enjoyable driving around with cars sounding like that. Hope you like it.

Most of the car sounds are ripped straight from Heat, which is fine, because Heat was great. Though would have liked to see some improvement or changes here and there. They’re also too quiet during events and pursuits.

@@MaximusOverdrive because the games are from 2 different eras. The quality of sound in mw isn't as good as the new one. It's like comparing a song from 1979 and 2020, but comparing a song from 2018 and 2023 would be quite the same quality.

Not at all; I've seen a lots of improvements on the engine sounds compared to Ghost's NFS Which are the next what I heard that changed the most: -The Plymouth Barracuda now has more Rawring tone on the mid revving, compared to Ghost's ones which it sounds very chill like they revving-up on lower RPMs. -The Lotus Exige has now a more aggressive sound, plus it sounds louder the Superchager (since the IRL was supercharged) contrary to Ghost's one the engine sounds smoother, but, it's alright, but, the supercharger it sounds pretty much similar to an centrifugal superchager rather than a Screw Axial supercharger one. -The Honda S2000 now it has a more rawring & louder V-TEC engine, while Ghost's one sounds smooth but very catbacked-up. -The Nissan 350Z it sounds pretty smooth, but, not catbacked as it was in Ghost's NFS. -The Mustang Foxbody has a more raspier rawr, while Ghost's one was more "gently rawr" for some how to say. -The Lancer Evo IX it has a more smoother "rocket-ish" rawr, compared to Ghost's one which is more raspier banger one, I had mixed feelings about which one is good. -The Huracans now they sound that were supposed to sound an IRL Huracan's V10; Compared to Ghost's one which they just re-used the Black Box's Gallardo's V10 engine sounds note, which it's not bad, but, it sounds out of place if you have an sharp sense of sounding to difference in between them. -The Impreza WRX STi Hawkeye in Unbound the Low Revs sounds amazing (quite similar to UG2's engine sound) while in Heat the High Revs sounds amazing on that part (quite similar to Carbon's engine note on mid-upgrades). -And the most obvious of the bunch; is the Skyline GT-R R34 which after many complains about the bonestock Twin-Turbo RB26 used in Ghost's NFS; They finally managed to change the sound to a more similar to an Single turbo mid-modified RB26 sound, not too similar to the R32's note, but, at least it sounds what an upgraded RB26 sounds like (without falling-off into the modified 1JZ Engine sound used in 2F2F).

Oh man I can barley hear the sound especially at lower rpms they have to fix this shit I mean the game is 3 months old and it still has this problem. In heat it was gorgeous to hear the exhaust and engine but in unbound it sucks

@@simonezuzolo7491 True but the exhaust sounds in unbound are improved, a car like the skyline r34 sounds much better and realistic in unbound than in heat. What i did was turn all sounds to 10% and car sounds to 100% and play with manual gearbox. Then it sounds really really good.

Yeah this is a bug that I noticed, car volume is tied to the effects volume. If you only leave car volume at %100 you will get no sound at all.

What are you on about ? All the sound shave improved over time, only real downside is the volume, but the quality of the sound or accuracy itself is spot on, volume is really a simple thing that needs to be raised up but it's not in any way backwards or a step down in engine sounds and detail.
