I'm sorry to inform you but what you encountered towards the end there is desync, where you or another player lags. And due to this, you'll either get rammed by someone behind you from lag or get brake-checked by said player, also by lag. This can't be patched unfortunately. It's more of an internet than an intentional exploit or game glitch.
