The thing with A and even A+ class' is it requires a different mindset. Every one obviously builds for speed, but that's not going to work. Build for Survival. win/finish as a racer by building a "Blocker" (those that played NFS on DS will know what I'm talking about. Essentially, pick a heavy muscle or 4x4 and keep cops off the others. Impact reduction and repair kit put in work. Try running a Charger or Barracuda, lean towards drift control and speed around corners/slides. Every A class, i find I'm baby sitting cops mid/end of pack, by the time they realise you're not going down easy, a racer has already pulled away, meaning they either have to keep on you, or pull away to try to take out lead giving you a chance to repair, restock and be able to fight back in the last leg. I've already received psn msgs from the cop players either saying Well played, or whinge that I'm being toxic 😂

You’re talking out of your ass lol, repair kit doesn’t even work in this game mode, lying ass lmao. If you get hit at a certain speed differential, you’re gonna take the same amount of dmg no matter what car/truck you’re using. You have to build for speed, cheese and impact protection is the best way to win in A/A+, and even then if they have emps, unless you can avoid getting stunned it’s just over for you anyway. Playing to help other racers win isn’t my objective either, I’m playing for first.

A class is currently useless in this mode. Until the devs make the cops as +1 tier of racers its useless to play in A class. Also u should try the new Porsche in S class if u haven't, it performs really good in S class hot pursuit

Pc players are having issue where their cop cars move in slow motion, so that basically balances it out

lol I destroy them in the ford raptor and x6, for me the key in A+ is to use big cars with damage and reinforcement mod to give out crazy damage and clear my way . While I take less damage in the process of they decide to hit me back . They both accelerate hard between 4/6 gear so they’re good for long stretches too.

Got me back to Hot Pursuit 2010, that Impreza hatchy become my favorite the moment i started the game as it was one of the first cars you drive, along with the Lancer X, Boxster Spyder, Charger SRT8, 370Z Roadster and some more beautiful sport cars..

Might need to try the 959 (I mainly use the Testarosa) in A+ I mainly play the S class events in a 458 (some V8 swap)

S class HP events are the most fair. Tried playing A class yesterday, I had a blast, but it’s unbearable. Before even the first corner you’re probably already getting rammed (crash cams are annoying but even worse cause you still take damage and no invincibility frames) by someone in a 959 or a 911

A class is HOPELESS for racers. They can literally rear end you and crash camera IN THE BEGINNING😭 A+ is still heavily on the cops side because of the sheer amount of cops that can be on screen. Definitely when they are busted and more players on the cops side. S class is the only class that feels fair, even then if you are overwhelmed by cops, its over if you can't get back up to speed. The game mode is REALLY FUN THO❤🎉
