Battle pass was entirely free at the start, as a way to introduce new content, but after some updates they made a paid part, and argument it as they need money to do more updates. I started in Vol.2 and bought a game on full price, and played through all updates and bought all premium speed passes, and enjoy mostly everything about the game.

Racer X is Razor from the old 2005 Most wanted. It makes sense with how much he talks lol, and the actual Razor actor did work with them. Also for anyone that's going to try it out. The only vehicles that you can actually keep for non lockdown use are the jacked vehicles from the lockup, sadly we can't keep the bike for freeroam online and pvp and the normal ones you find around the city. My tip, stay as late as you can. Good luck racers!

Fun fact for those who played the original Most Wanted but haven't checked out Lockdown as of yet. Racer X is actually Razor. Neat to hear him again. Tips for players who haven't played lockdown as yet. Stay late if you can't find a bike but have collected $100 000 you can pay Razor to open a lockup there's always around $50 000 to $60 000 in the lockup so you can easily make that money back. If you can: extract with the bike, if you keep your extraction streak up to the point where you have load into a game of lockdown using S+ vehicles. If you extracted the bike in a previous run you can use it.

I've played a little bit of it, but the cop chases really pressure you into finishing them as soon as you can. I remember in the original Most Wanted how you could just go round in circles on the Highway and not feel pressured to actually end the chase until you actually needed to.

They released this game for free with ps plus premium for a couple of months so I played the whole story and was completing the side quests with all collectibles to get the platinum and suddenly they pulled it out of ps plus and decided to sell it for $80. This pissed me off cuz they didn’t have a great player base, but gained a lot of new players from ps plus and decided to sell it full price again so I never payed for it and never completed my trophy hunt.

Unbound was a surprise hit for me last year when it went on Game Pass. I keep going back to it because I enjoy starting a new "project car", if only digitally. The dialogue is what keeps this from being a perfect game for me. The Forza games are just a little too intricate with their tuning for someone like me to enjoy.

NEED FOR SPEED MOST WANTED and CARBON, I loved HEAT to. That's my era. It just ain't the same these days. Back then, they had stories that hit and cool music. My favorite memories were beating Carbon and winning that last big canyon drift. Back then you weren't being shilled garbage like battle passes for your rewards or even cars. This new Honda Integra has a really good Grip handling it turns really good and even the Audi R8 has a nice stability when driving at max speed, it turns good and doesnt wobble like the older cars

I preordered Unbound but took about 3 months gefore getting into it. Despite giving up on the story mode early on, I've put over 800 hours into it as each update really fleshed it out. Vol. 9 has quite a few bugs (like really glitchy matchmaking, for one) but is lots of fun.

About the cops spawning out of thin air: that is most likely just the undercover camaros. I also thought that it's a bug first, but realized later it only happens at heat level 4 and 5 and then saw that they're just hidden from the radar

I refunded this game the moment I realised that you cannot re-map the controller buttons on PC. I hate the default layouts for manual gears. They did the same thing with the previous game and plenty of people complained. Clearly didn’t listen. The handling is too arcade like for me to enjoy the game. I enjoy putting skill into driving games and understanding how cars should react to different inputs. You don’t get that with this game. Underground 2 had better physics for goodness sake.

So if your like me, and your thinking about re-installing the game just to try out the bikes, be clear that you can not just select the bikes or buy them. As of right now they are completely unavailable in single player. You can only get them temporarily through the Lockdown mode, or in a pvp online playlist of races meant specifically for bikes. There is no possible way to freeroam with them for now.

The thing I really dislike about this game is how the story mode seems to force you to make a "race" style build. I went in making a "drift" based build and lost every single race. the drift mechanics in the game are far less responsive than say, NFS: Payback which was JUST right in a way.

I did it the other way around and my "race" build car sucks so bad on any of the activities that require even the slightest bit of drifting that I can't do any of them

Really been loving Kaizen approach. Vol.9 has been the biggest fun. Love the Blacklist cars, love the mw 2012 find it, take it and have it system. And good ol' Racer X ( Razor) just was the top notch. Its a whole now. Hope we get to see this more in the future.

It's a good Need for Speed Game. Honestly, as much as the dialogue is cringey at times, the interactions with Rydell are surprisingly wholesome and the ones with Tess.. get some decent laughs, if you are the right generation for that. My biggest complaint about the game is that after you complete the story all those things just end, and it's just another need for speed game I guess.

I bought this game, started playing it and immediately bounced off. The music and characters were annoying, which I could get past, but the fact that the campaign car progress does not carry over to online and that you HAVE to have other players in online races and cannot play with just ai players was enough to make me return the game.

I miss the days of need for speed underground. This new stuff just doesn’t seem the same. I guess that’s just the thing of getting older you feel like you play more for nostalgia, very rarely is there a new game I feel like I can really get into (not just need for speed but all types games, outlast trials is the only game I was excited for in a long time)
