For a game that doesn't allow customisation this game oddly doesn't feel boring at all. It's the atmosphere i tell you, the entire feeling, lighting and stuff, especially the sunset moments. If thought of this game without it's name it's a pretty solid game. They should've just called it Burnout 2012 and it would've had awesome player ratings.

That's because criterion were making a sequel to burnout paradise city that got scrapped to make a NFS game instead, most wanted 2012 was basically paradise city 2 but with licenced cars

Allow me to continue this topic further here. NFS mw '12 isn't by any means a boring game, mainly because if fun and simple to learn physics. Every kilometer I travelled in this game was a wonderful journey, that took over 10 years now. I've achieved absolutely everything and I most certainly not regret it. Go buy it, worth it.

I gave this game a tremendously massive amount of shit back when I played it on the PS3 in 2012. Thought it was trash even after winning the Koenigsegg Agera R. I didn't have the DLC, and wasn't into the multiplayer at all. I just thought it was a huge Burnout Paradise clone, which is hilarious, because I put thousands of hours into Paradise. Fast-forward to literally day before yesterday. Picked it up off Steam for a whole $2.16 plus all of the DLC for another $14. It has been a completely different experience; this game is actually phenomenal. The cars have a handling model I've never quite experienced or remembered, even for the NFS series, that makes it feel fluid at intense speeds, with the knowledge that one wrong move spells total disaster, and the additional content adds another deep, deep layer I think I felt was missing. And I'm shocked to see that the multiplayer works nearly a decade later, and works extremely well. What the hell, 20-year old me. Thanks for posting this. This is the best remix I've ever heard of this song.

The answer is simple I'm surprised that some people still don't get it. The game itself is not bad but they should not use the same name as they used for NFS MW 2005. People at launch expected some story related to the previous part related to the name. I myself think that using the same name as for the predecessor resulted in everyone expecting something big and iconic on the scale of NFS MW 2005. They unnecessarily used the name NFS MOST WANTED.... by many to this day the best and iconic part of the entire series.
