In 2008, Lwasa invented the tailcone muffler of the 787 Boeing Dreamliner. It is what covers the hole in the back of the plane, just below the tail, where the body of the plane ends in a cone. It works as an exhaust outlet to minimise the noise levels.

Why should an aircraft structural engineer come back to Uganda a country which does not manufacture planes manufacture plane? Flavia why should Lwasa go and meet Hon Mukula? What interest Is there for Lwasa to join the Uganda airline? He is engineering not in management.

I am sorry to say I think Flavia you are not real, first of all there is a lot of tribalism in Uganda. Talk about envy, that guy can easily be killed. By the competitors. They are not his size in the first place. I have seen so many people of his caliber who have been frustrated in Uganda. My brother do not ever try.

Think before u type. What makes me not to be real?
@johnkiganda86162 жыл бұрын
@@DIASPORACONNECTUG Just pursuading someone like Lwasa who is overqualified and more especially so in his field of expertise, to go back to Uganda and work in Uganda, please be real. Where would you really employ a man of that expertise and experience in Uganda. Even if you would like him to work for our dilapidated Uganda Airlines, Mark you that is not our Airlines, we know who the owners are, which department would he fit. Even then according to tribalism that is existing in our country, leave alone all the garbage we hear in Government, Uganda Airlines aside, would you yourself if it were you really go and work in Uganda, please be real. In the first place, can you tell us why you fled Uganda to go where you are living now. Please, don't pretend Flavia and that is people like you who can't see things in the real perspective that Uganda is still very far from being liberated. For your information, I used to work for the Government and I know the ins and outs of working for the the Government. Do you need more?
@johnkiganda86162 жыл бұрын
@@DIASPORACONNECTUG Flavia, let me ask you a question, would you work for someone who can't recognize your contribution, leave alone your education and experience you might have gotten? Would you work for a corrupt system full of outright thieves, people who don't have any direction for the organization they are managing, a country Uganda being taken as an Organization. Would you be happy yourself to work in an environment full of sectarianism. A man like Lwasa who has worked in environments which don't harbor such characteristics, how do you expect him to cop up. All of us know what is happening in our Uganda, it is in black and white, would you expect a man of Lwasa's caliber to be part of such a system where institutions are not respected, having been himself in organized, non corrupt systems? Would you Flavia yourself do it? Just hearing on what is going on in Uganda Airlines, and that is just one in so many organizations in Uganda, would you pursuade someone of his caliber to go back and work in Uganda? Please, be real.
