NG7M Tashjian / Tri-Ex LM-470 Post Crane Install Raise and Nesting Test - Time Lapse

NG7M QTH Post Crane install of a Tashjian / Tri-Ex LM-470 Positive Pull Down Crank-up tower. This video has a couple of time lapse segments where the tower is raised from ~25 feet to the full 70 foot extension height. The actual time required to raise the tower to its full extension is ~3 minutes. ~3 minutes to nest the tower back at the ~25 ft height. Enjoy, Max NG7M

Does your Tower have much sway at the top when it's windy?

Not that I have ever noticed as in swaying back and forth? However depending on the stronger wind direction the tower will slightly lean due to a little play in the sections. Properly adjusted positive pull down spring tension helps too with any rocking / sway motion. After more than two years with the tower up 99% of the time at full height, I never have noticed any back and forth swaying in wind. Max NG7M
