My tremendous respect to Ngari Ngodupla one of the few remaining historical figure of Tibet who has witnessed the transitional era in Tibetan history and Chinese communist occupation closely. I am so moved by his story about his experiences in Tibet How the game of fate changed him from spiritual monk into a resilient Guurrila warrior. 1. It is really heart-wrenching when he narrated how Norbulinka turned red with artillery fire. 2. When he said he hasn't seen sun rays for a year in Nagchu prison in Kham. 3. And mothers committing suicides by jumping into the river with their babies. My deep sense of gratitude to TTV for this wonderful report every tibetan should watch and listen to him. To all those Gen-z out there in Tibetan diaspora we must groom ourselves contribute something to our society and our cause. 😢

Ladakh and Tibet are two different Kingdom historically and we fought deadly wars and Tibetans under Sokpo Galden Tsewang killed many Ladakhs pa at Basgo Chargyal Thang. Similarly Tibetans were killed by the Chinese and by forgiving and forgetting our past what Tibetans did to Ladakh, many Ladakh's warriors like meymey Murup from Thiksay helped Tibetans against our similar adversary; The Red Chinese!!! but promoting meymey by saying Ngari Ngodup is not right in present context of Ladakh being Ladakhs pa not Ngari pa; which is now under Chinese occupation!!!

watching this video had me realized how many brave, unheard hero fought for tibet even it was on verge of defeat however, the hope still stayed alive to such extend that his words still has hope for a free tibet. To all the brave people fought and died for tibet I thank you all for fighting so hard and for not giving up! Free tibet!

History is not written only by the victors, the losers also have their story to tell and in this case, the cruelty of the invaders and the tragedy it meant for the Tibetans, is very well captured. I do not know if someday Tibet will be free again, but as long as they keep their language, culture and religion, Tibet will be alive and will continue to be a spiritual light to illuminate the world and guide to the supreme achievement to those heroes who undertake the path of Vajrayana. Freedom for Tibet!

It is very weird that these both Tibetan n formal Tibetan part in India decendent people of these generations compared ladaki , Sikkims, northern arunachal pradesh as a separated entities with Tibet due to lack of history knowledge. It’s very sad to see Tibetan kingdoms dissolve between two giant countries India and china like a suger in ocean. With slowly losing there culture , language n there history. Lama inability rules bring only failure , deaths, suffering and dishonour to Tibetan!

i have same mark on hand where lithang phuntsok saying he got shot, i sometimes think about my birthmark on hand and always wishing to know who i could be in past life? maybe i m lithang phuntsok in past life and i know i was very fearless when i was young boy, now i m old 43, i m sure lithang phuntsok was killed otherwise i will not have birth mark same spot on hand where he saying he got shot

Why he is being addressed as Ngari Ngodup when he is from Thiksay Ladakh, is this to set some kind of narrative or is there any hidden agenda of TTV??? because Ngari is now under Chinese occupation and Ladakh today is not in any sense linked to Ngari except a shared border!!! So my request to TTV is, pls dont address any Ladakhs pa as a Ngari pa because Ladakh is totally different entity than Ngari!!! Ladakh is India and Ngari is China!!!!

Please watch the entire film, you will know how acquired the name Ngari Ngodup. All those Ladakhi monks who studied in Drepung monastery in independent Tibet were either from Ngari Khamtsen of Drepung Gomang or Pethub Khamtsen of Drepung Loseling. He was in Drepung Ngari Khamtsen that is why he is popularly known as Ngari Ngodup. For your kind information Ngari and Pethub Khamtsen were reestablished in Drepung Monastery in South India. Thousands of Ladakhi monks study there.

Bro learn history well or maybe u learned the Chinese version of Tibetan history( calling ngari/tibet a china) bro then note they(china) claims ladakh as the territory of tibet so be mindful. If u r a Buddhist practice mindfulness and learn impermanence this might give u a peace of mind, u might be ladakhspa in this life time but ur next life is unknown otherwise u have special power to choose urselves to be born ladakhspa again. And if u r jst a regular human being with mere few decades to live on this earth learn to live with peace, u don't know if u would be born as human or as an animal let alone a ladakhs pa. Peace ✌️
