This is because they were ordered to pull back completely. They were kicking the absolute shit out of the Division and had basically wiped out every Division agent in DC before they were ordered to pull back entirely and go back into the shadows to let them do their work for them and save money/resources, etc.

Peter Yim There's a short division movie here on KZbin and amazon prime. I really wish they'd make a show out of the Division and Ghost Recon! The storyline in the games are pretty good and I know a lot of people enjoyed them. I mean they're all derived from Tom Clancy's books anyways. If I had the money I'd front the production costs hahaha. If done properly they'd be hits for sure.

In the recordings you find from Keener, he talks about a bigger picture and leading people on a chase. To top it off, he strictly mentions that he still has the DNA printer and original schematics, as well as the Russian Doctor and that "the division should be careful on who they chase". I'm spitballing, but I think Keener will be back, but to oppose this new ground behind the black tusk.

I think Keener is truly the wildcard here. I believe he turned rogue because he got wind of the massive conspiracy against the government and took opportunity of the ensuing chaos in NYC to make sure he doesn't end up a) what the BTSU wants for the Division; annihilation and b) a pawn for the big dogs. Wyvern knew about Keener. She specifically states about rogue agents within the division that they can use. I wouldn't be surprised if these two had dealings before or worked hand in hand as well. Keener wants us to turn rogue, and go against this hidden agency. I mean, look at how the BTSU was dealing with washington prior to division arrival; they paid people to kill off the head of the State, they ensure one of their own becomes the president and they have the anti viral. If we knew about this when we were in NYC, we would have turned rogue too.

@@RaZeyLWindBladE Keener turned because of the 1st wave and how they were abandoned to die. See the 1st wave orders were to push and take control in DZ. The JTF decided to pull out, leaving them completely abandoned with all the people they were supposed to protect. Keener had this experience before he snapped - he watched the people he was supposed to help being slaughtered. See the 1st wave Division agents didn't have a choice - if they pulled out with JTF, they would be declared rogue by ISAC. If they stayed - they die....They were trully fucked and abandoned. Hence why so many actually went rogue. But Keener had other problems as well - his psych evaluation points that he is a bit of a megalomaniac with big sense of importance. He couldn't take being discarded and went a bit crazy....

Honestly when I heard about these guys, I really didn't see them as a threat and just treated them as I would treat a level 6 hyena. Little did I know, they actually lived up to their description ( at least for me) and proved to be very combat effective. Instead of staying stagnant and imobile, some would flank while others provide covering fire. They used the explosive drones to flush you out of cover for a good shot. Their call outs are much more descriptive and you really get the sense that a professional military unit is after you, and these are only a couple of improvements out of many. Even though I rage at the factions effectiveness at killing me, I really do appreciate a good challenge and it really does make me love the game that much more at the end of the day. Love the vids, keep it up bro!!!!!

I never played The Division 1. But HOT DAMN! the Divison 2 is a gem! i freaking love it... I just loooooove running around with my Tac-50 in the streets of New York and pick out baddies and see em get torn apart by one hell of a sniper shot! all the weapons a a treat to use and feel different, even thoes in the same category have distinct pros and cons that makes me choose a One LMG over another LMG everytime, cause of playstyle. This is the type of game where i constantly get sidetracked from my mission cause of something interrresting, and then i get side-tracked from the first side-track cause I keep finding interresting places, areas, missions, secrets, eastereggs, hunters, dyes, you name it... I really really like this game, and to think when i first saw the trailers i thought it looked a bit... boring...damn I was SO wrong. Thanks for making these lore videos, It makes the game even more fun for me to play, when I know there is a reason behind the different fractions, other than "different enemy types". very good job. liked + subbed. Aaron Keener would be the guy to somehow piss them off though. Got to remember he hates the government since Ellis yanked the carpet right from under Division Wave 1 agents that ultimately created an even bigger problem and required a second wave of agents to be deployed. Then Keener wipes out the second wave with a SAM much to Col Bliss’ dismay, he was furious as to what Keener did because he knew better than to attract the attention of SHD in a negative light and probably had plans to assist the JTF. So anything authoritarian Keener was against and he probably set the LMB to fail horribly. Black Tusk though he would declare an one man war and the results of that one would’ve been embarrassing for Black Tusk as we already have seen when he absolutely humiliated Schaeffer.

You mean the same people that took on the Rioters, Cleaners, Rikers, LMB and Hunters all at once and came out on top? The Black Tusk never have a chance to compete with the Division. One Division agent is probably equal to a whole batallion of BT. A group of 4 of them is almost unstoppable. BT might look fancy but they would just be another trophy on the wall for the Division. The only real threat to the Division is the Division themselves.

I was really hyped for this video of your LORE series, and it did not dissapoint. The Black tusks are one of the most important pieces of the story here, if not the most important so far. The LORE of this game is really intersting, many facts tied together, many theories that can fit... But I have still a doubt. Who is the goverment now? I mean, we, the players are agents of the SHD, the division, but the Black Tusks seem to be working for this "new goverment", so, as long as there's no "old goverment" around anymore, at this point I don't know if we are still the legit goverment or just a faction playing for the win here. I mean, Division is called "rogue agency", so... Are we all rogues now? Does anyone knows this? As I said, very interesting LORE indeed. And thanks for put it together.

We still are. The hidden agency, which in collaboration (or puppeteering) with Ellis and the BTSU, had a plan to overthrow the old government all along. I doubt they weren't the agency to startup that green poison, along with the rogue first wave agents. I believe the best saying for the BTSU is "keep your friends close, and your enemies closer" & "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". Which pretty much sums up why the BTSU withdrew their plan when the Division showed up. Great lore vid btw, amazing work.

I find it baffling that the Black Tusk are any kind of threat at all to the Division. When you consider the invaded missions we play, and how their supposedly highly-trained, elite-level, do-not-wanna-fuck-with leaders like Wyvern, Heads, Tails, and others very quickly go off-mission because (essentially) their egos are bruised, it's a wonder they've lasted as long as they have.

Scourge Blackwater my opinion I think Aaron Keener is behind the whole thing obviously. I think by crippling the country he’s able to create these factions such as the Black Tusks and the mysterious Founders. The Founders are the driving force while the Black Tusks are the surface to them. I believe Aaron Keener is involved in wanting a complete takeover or my other theory is that Keener himself was a puppet to one of these groups and behind the scenes was an army being built to take over the land for a new America. So many people behind the scenes I think it will be interesting but I also believe the division itself plays a greater role in this story whether they themselves are in the wrong or we find out later on how scattered the division really is on a grand scale meaning we could be a select few still alive hunted by these groups

The reality of the division is so fascinating. You wonder if Aaron Kenner is on of the employers but in a dangerous way. He has the green poison he may be threatening them. However I disagree with the hunters connection different military tactics also tec. Hunters have EMPS to destroy the BT weapon power. Also hunters are tasked to kill the first and second wave of division to avoid another rouge wave.

For me it looks way more that the hunters belong to the underground faction since they seem to appear around the sametime (at night) and I have never Seen a hunter fight a undergroundler.

You know what I think would be an amazing idea? If we played a story where we played as a rogue agent. It can start with us still being loyal to the Division then something bad happens where we lose faith and go rogue
