Just learned today that this is a revolutionary song composed by the Ngoni prince Nsingo who resisted the imperialist who invaded the Ngoni kingdom and he fought them with his impis, the National Anthem of the Ngoni people, Nsingo the great Ngoni prince who ever lived.

Lovely voice, there is something about bantu Music, am from kenya, but i feel like this is my language. Ngoni, bemba and even luhya from kenya, we have more in common than we realize. Lets embrace our traditions, thanks chikotii for doing just that....

Exactly. I feel the same about Igbo language which is a Bantu also

The day Africans wake up and unite in politics in the same way we are united in art, we will finally join the developed world, I see this as much as my music as I do Lingala, Kikongo, Kiswahili, Kinyarwanda, iSiZulu, Kikuyu, Luhya, Luganda, so on..if you speak one Bantu language, you speak them all, we all move to the same ngoma, are filled with same moyo, descent from the same zimu...and if you go back far enough we meet with our Nilotic and Cushitic cousins, maybe one day we will realize this

Song Title: Bamgwaza Chilopa Loyiwe LEAD: Bamgwaza chilopa Loyiwe ALL: Oh! LEAD: Bamgwaza chilopa Loyiwe ALL: Oh! Bamgwaza chilopa (Repeat stanza) LEAD: Aloyiwe ALL: Aloyiwe, Aloyiwe Aloyiwe, Aloyiwe Oh! Bamgwaza Chilopa In short the song says Loyiwe has been stabbed (by a spear, of course) in some personal fight... Nothing to do with war. And chilopa is blood

All I'm saying is that pride needs to be seen, not just in expression by words, but in many other forms or ways.ADUTERY is surely wrong especially in an HIV pandemic nation like Zambia.

Zambian traditional ceremony called N'cwala... thanking God for a good harvest. The song touches other topics like witchcraft & sexually transmitted diseases, the 3rd & 4th stanza respectively.
