Here's a bit of recommendations, 1) Upgrade your buildings, a strong economy supports a strong standig armies. 2) Let your army replenish, the more men, the easier it is to win, & u would be prepared for any unexpected battle 3) Focus on few fronts. Close up any fronts that is beyond your reach, go west first. Then go for Yuan Shao 4) Have a full standing army to defend your border. While all of your armies went to west. Let one or two defend your border, it take a while to cross the river
